Mexican with a difference!

Pinche Pinche is a former Mexican restaurant in a trendy northern suburb of Leeds that has undergone a transformation. It is now a Mexican Tapas restaurant and, as such, is more in tune with the nouveau Mexican cuisine to be found in parts of the USA. I took my 17 year old daughter with me for... read more

This was my first visit to pinche pinche, it was recommended to me by a friend who knows I love Wahaca so thought I would like it. I was not disappointed! Firstly, the margaritas are some of the best I have had in the UK for some time. The choice of food is very good, I am a vegetarian but... More

Small 'restaurant' basic menu basic furnishings. Friendly staff, very cold inside & badly lit. We had the burritos and are currently suffering accordingly. Left the restaurant feeling ill. Service was relatively fast. Child friendly. (But not what you want for a couples meal) wasn't what We were expecting. Overpriced for what we got. Food tasted average, (not spicy for Mexican... I went to Pinche Pinche with a friend on a Friday night with a bit of reluctance. I had been to the same location (different management and name) and had been disappointed. So going back was a bit of a gamble to me. I've been to Mexico before and lived in Southern California for a long time, so I know... More

I have been here a few times now and really like it. It serves good old fashioned Mexican food. The kind of stuff you love to east post hangover or on a winter's evening. The choros are a favourite if you really want to pile on the pounds.

Without doubt the coolest place to eat in Chapel Allerton - the skull art branding looks great! The restaurant is warm and vibrant, albeit a little too busy at weekends. Good, solid tapas food and some really tasty dessert options, nice place to come either with a small group or as a couple.

We went out to eat at our usual food haunt and they were closed, so we remembered this place we still hadn't tried. Wow...... we not disappointed. We were seated in the last two window seats which were perfectly comfortable, and not draughty at all as we were near the front door. We were served very promptly by a lovely... More

booked a table to experience good food and enjoy time with a good friend. The food was delicious however a couple of disappointing points, the first is its very noisy and at times makes it difficult to hear your companions. The second is the tables are packed in. the third is you are given your meal and expected to leave,... More

Dear Hanna334 As I said to your friend, Emnicfreya, in the review below, we do not ask tables to leave. You had finished your meal and had been asked a couple of times whether you wanted anything else and you had declined on both occasions. We asked you if everything had been ok with your meal and if it was... More

Dear Emnicfreya Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate everyone who chooses to spend their time and money with us. I'm glad you enjoyed our food that unlike the previous reviewer you were not irritated by the lively atmosphere and wanted to stay. We are a small, family run restaurant and there is high demand for tables at peak times. We... More

Met up with friends at the Pinche Pinche, found the experience irritating. The food was ok, the ribs fairly bland, the main menu choice is very limited and the drinks were rather expensive. The noise of the other diners was intolerable it was like being in a noisy bar in the city centre with drunken revellers, probably due to a... More
