Good Mexican

I'm not usually a huge fan of Mexican food, but this is very nice. Lots of choice and very tasty. We had the special guacamole with the pistachio nuts which was absolutely delicious. The service was fast too. Tables are a bit cramped but the ambience is good. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday... read more

My expectations may be too high as I used to think this was a great little restaurant. Having not been for a short while, we revisited but overall were disappointed again. The food is reasonably tasty, but the portion sizes are tiny. We ordered 3 tapas dishes each, more than the 2 recommended by the waitress and we were still... More

Recently visited here for a friends birthday and there were 8 people in our party. For a Monday night the reasonably busy which was a good sign! The menu is excellent with a lot of nice options and the food was absolutely amazing! Huge portion sizes and really tasty. We would defiantly visit again!

This is one of my favourite restaurants and I can't believe some of the reviews I have just read! Every meal I have eaten here has been delicious: really tasty and with interesting flavours. I have never left without feeling full and in fact last time I went I ended up TOO full because we couldn't leave without having churros!... More

My partner and I had really been looking forward to going here as we have never been to a Mexican resterant before. Because it's tapas style dishes we ordered lots of different dishes. All the food was cold and what we did bite into was horrible as if it had not been heated. We politely asked for the bill and... More

I decided to try this place after my boyfriend had been raving about it for months, we decided to go for a celebratory meal on a Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy, full of children and we were seated by the door, which was extremely draughty. In addition the chair was so hard that 2 days later I am... More

Just visited for the first time and apart from the excellent guacamole, I have to say it was the worst Mexican meal I have had in many years. The restaurant is quite dark and draughty and the menu cards on the tables were grubby looking. Not the greatest first impression but we stayed because there were so many good reviews... More

The food here was a delight, superbly flavoured, spiced and presented. This isn't pretentious food, its solid honest and great value. Service was good, the music spot on and even on a Monday night there was a good atmosphere. Churros for pudding too, so you can't go wrong really.

Never managed to get a table by popping in so made a reservation and was not disappointed. Went with a group of friends and the food and drink was excellent. The food choice is enough but not too much, the flavours were fantastic. Will be going back again.

Pinche Pinche is, quite simply, the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Every visit is a culinary treat! The food is quite unlike most mainstream 'Mexican' fare, which is usually highly westernized and comparatively bland. This is the real deal - fresh, flavoursome, interesting and utterly delicious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to find out how... More
