Saw reviews, was in the area so popped in with my children. Lovely simple lunch and very pleasant staff. Give it a five compared to other places of this genre ie cafe rather than bistro, restaurant....

You're always welcomed with smile and a personal hello - a rare thing these days! The food is to die for. A combination of a feel of the home cooked but in a restaurant style. Perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Brilliant choices for breakfast. Go regularly and have done for 9 years since it opened. Have tried most things on the menu and all are delicious. Prices are good and the owner is simply fabulous.

Seriously...The eggs are to die for. And you can literally talk about anything to the staff. Very helpful and very welcoming. 5 stars all round.

This was my first visit to Timoney's, but it won't be my last! The staff were really helpful and it felt like teamwork was really important to them. They took time to discuss options, and even told one customer who was debating what type of coffee to order, that they named speciality coffees after customers. What a lovely touch. I... More

Everything about Timoney's makes me smile. The warm welcome when I walk through the door, the tea cup and saucer (with my sweeteners on the side) waiting for me on the small table by the window, the colourful and quirky menu and last but not least... the tasty food all made on the premises. It's a place I can visit... More

Timoney's is by now well established and has developed a devoted coterie of followers over the years. This is a cafe and small restaurant with a difference. The difference is the beguiling and enticing hostess and proprietress KAtherine who has an infectious love of good food (especially her renowned cakes) and her dedicated team who insist on freshly made wholesome... Ok so let's get some things straight. The service is utterly amazing, Catherine and family make your stay very welcoming. You ideally need to book otherwise you might be disappointed, as its a not huge. The more you go the more you'll appreciate and love the place and service and code and good... And the pancakes are to die for....... More

The pancakes are to die for. And if you want something a little different try the mushrooms on toast (onion marmalade / wensleydale). Sounds weird, tastes amazing. The staff are lovely and treat you really well. Our kids are so bought in to going that we can bribe them with a visit! (If you don't get your room tidy were... More
