Our first visit for a while due to ill health and it didn't let us down, it was worth waiting for, everything was superb. Enjoyed trying new gin cocktails from a special gin menu, steaks are just the best in the UK and cooked to perfection, outstanding service - neither of us could fault anything. No Gaucho is not cheap... More

We stayed in Leeds for our wedding anniversary and found this restaurant on line. From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to enjoy the evening. The reception was warm and friendly but totally professional. Our table was not ready so we were shown to a table in the bar and looked after very well. The drinks... More

A great looking venue that's easy to miss. A single illuminated menu board at street level is what we missed. Once inside the decor is dark and classy with a 'cow' theme to seating. Service was good and attentive. Then you get the good news with an £11 G&T! It was nice but nothing that special that justified the price.... More

Service - FANTASTIC Food - TERRIFIC Ambience - BRILLIANT Well worth a visit,we have now dined here twice on visiting Leeds, and were not disappointed on either occasion. It is pricey, but worth it. Service is fantastic, staff very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.

Brilliant place to eat , friendly staff an very helpful an knowledgable. Steaks are an average of 25£. When you first sit down you are shown a board of all the different cuts an how which are best cooked to suit how you would eat a steak. The steaks where really good, best I have had out worth the extra... More

Our second time here - opinion is divided amongst the 8 of us! The decor is OTT; kitsch but quirky and a vegetarian's nightmare! Real cow hide seats and platters of raw meat brought to the table for an explanation of what they all are. Have to say I rang in advance to request we didn't get this bit and... More

Been here a number of times now and I have to say that it gets better every time. The staff are a delight and go the extra mile for you. The food is well cooked and the portions are the right size. It's not cheap, but worth it..

Visiting from down south for the weekend, and managed to get a table on the day. I am used to giving exceedingly poor reviews on here, but the service and food we received was second to none. We were greeted in a friendly manner at the door and made to feel comfortable in an instant. Our waiter was extremely helpful... More

Great atmosphere, fun kitsch decor, well trained staff and excellent food but perhaps a slight timing issue! Love this restaurant and will come again despite the fact that we rarely eat red meat. The staff were attentive and produced a specially marked menu outlining those that were dairy free. I really appreciated that although it would have been great to... More

We were greeted at the door by lovely ladies which then took us to the table where we were served by Mento with a lovely smile and a fantastic passionate attitude.
