Myself and 4 friends enjoyed a very pleasant al fresco lunch on the riverside terrace. Great platters with Yorkshire cheeses and pork pie, sliced meats, light rye bread and delicious chutney etc. Friendly and obliging service. Good value. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Visited the kitchen last night for meet with friends. Immediately impressed by the interior which is warm and welcoming and full of atmosphere. A great selection of ales and the feel of a 'real British pub' in cosmopolitan area of Leeds. Wide choice of seating in intimate surroundings ranging from private balconies for two (smokers ??) and riverside terrace -... More

Great location by the side of the river. Nice external area. Internally warm and inviting The drink selection. Well fantastic. By far the best draught range of shall we say speciality ales and lagers I have seen in Leeds Staff were friendly, helpful and knew there stuff Didn't eat there on this occasion but would definetly give it a try

This was a lovely find in busy half term holiday Leeds. Canal setting, good food we both had stews, mine was beef and ale and my friend had the ham hock. Looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer. May go next week!

This place has buckets loads of character, is cosy and sells lots of beers, and has some nice stews. However I am going to rate it based on my last visit on Valentines day, and it wasn't that great then. It was way too busy, and they had a leak in the ceiling that dripped onto my head. Kind of... Sadly we missed out on the food, but had a great time in the bar. Superb atmosphere and friendly staff. The Oysters looked fantastic in the cold display at the bar and, having seen the menu, will certainly eat there next visit.
