Just called for lunch with my partner having wanted to try it for many years but never found the time. What an absolute jewel this place is. The good is to die for, the ambience perfect and the staff very attentive, tending to everyone's needs. If your looking for simple Italian food cooked really well, you won't find anywhere better.... Nice greeting as we arrived at viva. We decided on a early bird special. The house red wine lovely and fruity. Garlic bread was yummy, followed by firey spicey pasta, delicate and tasty chicken in a pesto style sauce. Followed by a slice of chocolate cake & a knock out unique coffee. Great service. A timeless italian in the heart... More

Out with a group of friends and decided to see if we could eat here without a prior booking, luckily they could fit us in. What a welcome the owner shook our hands and gave us a kiss on the cheek. They bought garlic bread to the table whilst we made our order. I had the calamari, it just melted... More

After a lovely day out we were looking for a quick bite and stubbled across VIVA. After we were seated, we had to wait a while for a menu, or drinks to be offered. We were kindly offered some delicious garlic bread and ordered our meals. The waiter was kind and offered us advise, in particular on my friends prawn... More

We were away for the weekend staying in Leeds and not knowing the City that well decided to venture out and take a punt on something. We were very lucky to come across Viva - it was busy but they found us a table for 2 nonetheless - bustling, friendly atmosphere and an intriguing mix of art and photography decorate... More

We ate here as a group of 8 adults on a Saturday night. Service was relaxed but could have been a bit quicker at times. Food was tasty but I felt the lasagne was a bit of a let down, however the courgettes from the side dishes were amazing! Unfortunately the restaurant had run out of Tiramisu but they didn't... More

It's the little things that make this place so special. For example bringing a complimentary garlic bread while you wait, the warm meet and greet... More
