The restaurant opened in 2008 and since has built a reputation for good quality service and food - and with its comfortable, contemporary interior, superb food and extensive affordable wine list, has rapidly become one of the most popular destination restaurants in the city for both lunch and dinner.Situated at West Point on Wellington Street, this Italian ristorante has a highly experienced team ready to create delicious authentic Italian dishes using fresh local produce and imported Italian specialities - all served with a delightful mix of Mediterranean panache and Yorkshire warmth and value. They show passion for customer service and when asked what makes Primo different - The answer is simple: Italian staff, quality of customer service, great menu created from typical Italian dishes using only fresh - not frozen - ingredients and nevertheless, the value for money compared to quality of food and wine.

I regularly park in the open air car park over the road from this place and for whatever reason have dismissed it. Always seemed quiet and I have seemed tempted to venture further into town. A group of us ate here and would all say we enjoyed it. The food was very good, pork fillet medallions especially, and the staff were excellent - helpful, friendly and efficient. Would return if ever in the area.

We visited Primo's over the weekend, 2 adults and 2 children. Service was great - friendly and professional. Food was fresh and tasty - all for us emptied our plates. Desert portions were generous (much to the delight of our two boys!), and pricing very reasonable.

We booked Primo for our work's Christmas lunch. 80 of us took over the restaurant and it was fantastic. The Christmas menu was absolutely delicious and fantastic value - 3 courses and each one a really good portion size. The service was great and we had a really enjoyable afternoon. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been and want... More

Great food after a long drive up from Bristol. We didn't get to our hotel until 9.45 popped over for food and they were really accommodating and really quick. Food was very good and the waitress was great.
