Ok but not the best Loch Fyne

One knows what to expect when eating at a Loch Fyne; it is a restaurant chain. The food was OK but not outstanding. The fish is probably as fresh as can be expected from an inland city which is why I ate steak! Because it is a chain there is no flexibility on the menu. For example I wanted a... read more

Having read mixed reviews we went ahead and booked for dinner on Saturday 30th May for a joint birthday meal. The food we had was okay but portions were tiny, over priced & left us wondering why we had bothered. The restaurant was practically empty at 7.30 so guessing folk had the sense not to patronise this establishment. Service was... More

Visited during the Bank Holiday weekend with my partner after visiting family in Leeds. Warm welcome, prompt, efficient service and good food. Highly recommend Lobster shellfish platter - delicious and fresh! Will return when next in Leeds!

We went every few weeks, never failed to put a smile on my face. The oysters are always great, the service is a little slow (if unlike me you aren't into spending 2-4 hours at a restaurant), my husband is the fussiest eater but he will always find something to have on the specials menu. The vibe is so chill.... More

Went there with my boyfriend and a friend. Two of us had mackerel for starters; it was delicious, but we could have done with more bread (although I'm sure we would have been brought more if we'd asked). My boyfriend had the crab cakes, which were ok but not particularly brilliant. I had the fish finger sandwich for main, which... More

We have eaten at Loch Fyne before but not for some time. The food is not as good as it used to be. There is quite a varied menu but the quality of the fish is not what it was. The waitress was pleasant enough and the service was ok but it was very quiet. We were not asked if... More

Eeshk . The location is fab . This could be a prime site . Instead it's a 1 time tourist trap where the food is awful unless you complain . I didn't but the manager who was very good picked up that I had left my £20 lobster spaghetti he tried it and said he agrees it was gritty and... More

Where to start? When I left the 'restaurant' I composed a three word review 'I ******* despair' This is an 'upscale chain restaurant' offering bad service, and downscale food at upscale prices. Both my meal and my partners were not only bad, they were also 'weird' who knows what the red stuff in the small bowl served alongside my burger... More

Had eaten out for steak the night before so wanted something different. Had been for a drink at bar and grill then saw this place next door and thankfully they managed to squeeze us in. Delicious food and good service.
