"In the very heart of Leeds, Malmaison Brasserie reigns supreme as a superlative place to meet and eat. The highly chic brasserie has sleek stylish decor, with soaring vaulted ceiling, an open through fireplace and cosy booths. The staff are passionate about food, wine and service, and the dining room is lit with that brasserie buzz. Malmaison Executive Chef Keith shearer has overall direction, which Head Chef Peter Conlin carries out beautifully. What's cooking? Inspiration is taken from great 'French brasserie-style dishes' and further enhanced with a unique contemporary twist. "

I went here for a romantic lunch with the missus and the food was delicious the decor and ambiance was great and so was the service the waiters could not do enough for you. The only let down is the price of the drinks but with the food been so good that can be forgiven. Would definitely go back

I just adore Malmaison hotels and use any excuse to book an overnight stay. This particular night was for Valentine's Day. The hotel did have a special Valentine's weekend menu however, none of which especially stood out so we decided to stick to our favourite.........steak! The Mal steak is just unreal and amazing and has yet to disappoint (and we've... More

My friend and I attended the Brasserie for a catch up lunch. Service was good and we were seated at our table quickly. The decor of the room and the furniture made it feel homely. We had the benefit of Gourmet card which meant 2 for 1 mains otherwise this would have been an expensive lunch! We each ordered double... More

We experienced a 20 min wait to get to our table despite booking. The starters were amazing, what a fabulous array to choose from, soup, smoked salmon, prawns, charcuterie, cheeses, breads. There was a choice for the mains, my husband had rib of beef and I had chicken (which was a little dry). Distint lack of veg, 1 carrot and... More

We were spoiled for choice on the menu , chose what we wanted , it was served by a lovely young lady sorry didn't take her name, we were'nt rushed and we felt well looked after and we have a fabulous night for a special occasion , prob spent more than we would usually , but felt it was justified... The dining room is a bit disappointing. Tired furniture in a not well furnished room. Its all a bit old and a refurb is needed. The menu is pretty simple with bog standard fare but at very good restaurant prices. Caprese salad to start. Poor quality tomatoes which had little taste and low quality Buffalo Mozzarella. All a bit tasteless.... More
