Fantastic little place!

We're fortunate enough to live close to this lovely restaurant. We took a couple of friends here for dinner at the weekend and enjoyed yet another delicious meal. It's only a small place, the car-park is tiny (4 or 5 cars, max); the dishes are mainly English, done in a classic French style. It's... read more

We ordered literally everything on the menu and couldn't fault any of it! The mains were gorgeous I would recommend the pork, lamb and venison! Service could be abit better it's only a small restaurant with only a few tables and we we're struggling to get drinks and catch the waitresses attention

We are blessed to have some quality restaurants in Sherburn I Elmet The Bon is is one of the gems, great friendly service and great food. The staff really helped me make my wife's birthday special, nothing was a problem.

Situated in the village of Sherburn in Elmet, The Bon offers an extremely pleasant dining experience with a varied menu that should cater for most tastes. The downstairs offers a bar area where you can have a drink and peruse the menu - the restaurant has its very pleasant own house hand-pulled beer. Dining is upstairs in a small and... More

Was very disappointed in our Sunday Lunch, mix up with starters so one of our party had to wait & rest of us had finished ours before the correct one arrived. Main courses not nearly as good as our last visit, very expensive for an average meal, will think twice about returning to this local restaurant!!

A very enjoyable anniversary dinner in this lovely intimate restaurant. Staff were very efficient and the food served promptly but not rushed. Quality and presentation is of a high standard as one would expect of this type of establishment, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is one of calm quality and the decor very tasteful. All in all, a... More

I went to The Bon with my family to celebrate my 65th Birthday and just like the last time when we went last year we were not disappointed. From the minute you make the booking until the minute you leave after the meal nothing is too much trouble. I went with my wife, son and daughter and their two partners... More

Having used to living in Sherburn over 20 years ago I remember this place and its reputation then. The name may have had a small change but its reputation and my new experience hasn't a lovely modern interior with just amazing food (and as a head chef myself I recognise good food when I get time as a customer to...
