We had a rare child free evening and were trying to decide where to go on a Wednesday night. I had seen the new Tapatisers menu on the Bon Facebook page so thought we would give it a go. What a lovely relaxing evening, sitting I the sun on the decking I edit lovely secluded garden, a few other tables... More

We visited last week for a Sunday lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Although not the cheapest Sunday lunch around, this was much more than the average roast and vegetables with a good choice of starters and mains which were all well cooked and a cut above the average. Service was professional and friendly and will definitely go again.

Absolutely fabulous food in this quaint restaurant. We had pate and hock for starters and wiped the plates clean. Then fish pie and lamb was lip smacking good. Not too pricey either which was a bonus. The only blot was that a glass of wine was over £6, something I totally disagree with, but most restaurants are ripping the public... More

Thought we'd try the bar menu at The Bon, first impressions good, nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff but unfortunately the food was disappointing, we complained, the staff were extremely apologetic and changed the meals but the new ones still weren't great and to be honest we expected better for the price. Probably won't return which is a shame as really... More

Great meal, only downside was that for a large party approx. 10 we were seated on three round tables so it was hard to chat comfortably. probably wouldn't return as a large group, however the food was lovely and would certainly return as a couple or small group

Simply a great night of food and drink is what we got. A Tuesday night is never going to be busy but there a few people there. The manager was chatty and friendly. The setting was modern, clean and elegant. The food was gorgeous and appealing to the eye. The starters were fresh, tasty and proportioned well, followed by a... More
