Had a drink or two in here and decided to eat. Starter and Main meal ( no room for dessert!) were very good. Good value too. Recommend +++++

I went here with my family for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It's pretty much your average English pub. It was quiet and we sat outside in the upstairs beer garden as it was a sunny day. The staff were very friendly and the food wasn't bad.. but it also wasn't anything special. Good Tip - on their website you... More

After being rejected by the White Lion for asking to order food ten minutes before 6.00 pm, and by the brewpub because'we don't serve food on a Wednesday' this warm, welcoming pub restored our faith in Yorkshire hospitality! Charming, efficient service and very good food.

Really enjoyed this Pub, we went in every evening (watched the world cup final here). We ate in here and found the food excellent. Great to sit outside and have a drink and watch the world go by!

Had a meal here when on a holiday. It was decent enough and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. Service was efficient. It is a dog orientated pub so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't go here. There is a small side room for eating where it was quieter than the main bar.

Visited in June whilst staying nearby! Had a fantastic meal of scampi and chips. Those chips are to die for! Friendly Staff , I think the man behind the bar was called Gareth, he was really helpful and when we popped in for a drink during the day, the lovely blonde girl recommended me "old mout" cider which is now my... We had a room set aside for us and the dogs (3) and we were made very welcome. A good variety on the menus - good basic pub grub friendly service, and fair value for money.

It was a pleasure to be back at this lovely hotel. The Bronte Suite was beautiful and roomy with a view of the Worth Valley. Staff was pleasant and helpful as always. Lovely breakfast too, which I got up for for once!

Just popped into the Fleece for a pint, the pint was good, but discovered they have two prices. £3.60 a pint or £3.10 a pint for locals, I dont think this is a good trading point, and I wont be back.

Old fashioned Yorkshire pub where locals and staff are friendly and entertaining. Food, service and beers all excellent. Dogs welcome. Charming and not touristy, I loved it!
