Pleasant meal and drinks

We visited the Fleece for Sunday lunch and on a couple of other occasions for drinks. Food and service were good and staff were very helpful even though the pub was busy and in the middle of being refurbished. Drinks were also good.

We visited the Fleece based on the previous reviews. Clearly some people don't get out much!. There was nothing wrong with the pub or the food as such but was no more than average so we were a little disappointed. We fared much better at the Dog and Gun nearby in Oxenhope, different league same prices.

We were staying in Haworth for the week and ate at The Fleece twice. The first time we ordered starters (whitebait/black pudding fritters) and as it was pie night we both had a steak and kidney pie from the choices available, which came with a drink each included in the price. Everything was delicious, but we didn't have enough room... More

Seems to be the nearest Haworth is going to get to a "locals pub". Ale not bad and atmosphere is good although a little expensive but you come to expect that from Haworth nowadays

We ordered a couple of starters and then cheese pie, lasagne and steak and ale pie. The wait staff dropped cutlery on the floor and bread on the table, they need to be taught how to hold plates etc properly. The portion sizes were good and the food was hearty. Nothing special but still there was a nice atmosphere generally.... More

Myself, my husband and our toddler son had dinner here whilst staying nearby. The staff were friendly, service was quick and the surroundings very comfortable. I had the gammon, which was nice and thick and served with possibly the tastiest chips I've ever had. Hubby had pork tenderloin which he said was delicious and my son had sausage, mash and... More

I'm local to the area, and have been asked on 4 occasions if I had a loyalty card. 4 times I said no, but I'd like one, and 4 times I've been told there were none available. I go to the Black Bull now, It's cheaper beer, and the landlord cannot do enough for his customers.

First of all I would just like to apologise that you did not receive a loyalty card. Over the last 18 months we distributed over 400 and they have been a amazing success. Anyone can receive a loyalty card at a cost of £5, either by filling a form in behind the bar or using our online service on our... More

We came to the beautiful Haworth just for the day to visit the Bronte parsonage. We hadn't booked anywhere for our evening meal and just happened upon the Fleece. We were given a warm welcome by staff, quickly seated and had our drinks order taken. The pub has kept lots of its original features and has a real 'local' feel... More
