Had an evening meal mid week with family. I had steak & kidney pie which I think was home cooked and delicious and reasonably priced. Portions were generous and everyone enjoyed what they had. Washed down with excellent Timothy Taylors Ale in pleasant surroundings. A really enjoyable evening.

We had a one night stop over on Friday 20 November 2015. The booking in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful. We stopped in the Bronte suite , there were 3 of us and it was most comfortable. The views over the valley were great, the covering of snow just added to the atmosphere . The breakfast was... More

We were staying in Haworth for one night and set off from our B&B in torrential rain! We drove down the main strret and spotted the Fleece was doing food so popped in. What a good decison that was! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Fleece is and old fashined style pub with a lovely atmosphere. The food... More

The fleece is an old fashioned bar with a snug and diner attached at either end. Naturally, it can be noisy. For the price, i.e. budget, the quality of the meal was good and the food wholesome. We were turned away on a busy Halloween night but otherwise enjoyed three nice dishes. Service can leave something to be desired tho'.

2pm on a Friday afternoon. Excellent welcome by friendly staff. Timothy Taylor's beers at their premium, I guess having only travelled a few miles. Landlord bitter as good as I have tasted. Steak and Kindney pie, water crust pastry and home made chips, perfectly cooked, best pie I have had for years. Real fish butty was good also. Good atmosphere... More

I've never been to a Pub with such rude staff in my life. I did not see one waitress smile while I was there! My plate was dirty so I didn't really want to eat my meal, that was poorly cooked and very bland anyway. Extremely over priced. Never ever again.

I arrived quite late on a busy Friday night with my daughter. We were made very welcome with comforting beer, lemonade and an excellent fresh hot enormous plate of fish and chips each. A cosy fire added additional warmth. A great start to a weekend in Yorkshire.

Thank Vanessa K
