Meal for two

Great local ales and good food with overly generous portions. Good friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a visit for anyone visiting the area - just don't eat much before hand.

Called in for a drink on a cold and windy afternoon. Warm welcome by staff. Enjoyed our drinks by a roaring log fire. Food menu looked tempting but didn't eat as we had made other dining arrangements for later. Certainly an inviting pub.

Fabulous pub to while the afternoon away whilst my wife braved the storms looking in the shops! She joined later sitting at a cosy table by the fire. Superb Timothy Taylor beers on tap. Looking forward to return visit in May

Visited here on Easter Monday in the late afternoon having done a 7 mile loop of Haworth Moor, Bronte Waterfalls and Top Withins. The pub was friendly with a good range of ales (albeit all from the same brewery). I ordered the burger, my partner sandwich and soup. Both were excellent. The soup was thick, the sandwich a good proportion.... More

Real traditional local pub, warm and very comfortable, dogs allowed in to most of the areas of the pub. Fantastic range of cask ales, especially Taylors, the food was top notch, and very reasonable, price wise. Only spent two days in Haworth but went to the Fleece both nights, the service was also extremely good, the waitress was really friendly.... More

Popped in for a late lunch. Lovely pub with a great choice of beers. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was great. I had the gammon steak and chips which were homemade. Lovely atmosphere, great location, great service and good home made food. Would definitely recommend.

We went for a Saturday evening meal. The pub is centrally located within Howarth. We reserved a table. The service was excellent. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The beer was delicious too. The only negative of a lovely evening was the lack of nearby parking.

Stayed 2 nights nearby and ate here the first night. The food was great and my partner loved the real ales. The bar staff and waitresses were all very helpful and friendly. Decided to try somewhere else the second night but we were drawn back to the fleece and we're not dissapointed. The stroganoff and risotto were scrumptious and home... More

We took my son and wife and family for Mother's Day. Having read some of the good reviews on here we chose The Fleece because it was her first Mother's Day and we wanted something memorable. A couple of us had starters. I had the leek and potato soup which was very bland and I had to add a lot... More

As you can see from our other reviews, this one comes as a disappointment to us. We are sorry to see you did not enjoy your meals at the Fleece on Mothering Sunday, if you had only said something at the time we could have rectified any problems. The roast dinner I am especially surprised about as they are usually... More
