A little gem in Haworth

We have eaten at Wharenui a few times and every single time the food and service has been amazing ! The specials are well worth trying and if fish pie is on the menu do not hesitate to order it, it was packed with fish and the most delicate sauce. The venue is fab, intimate and the waiting staff... read more

Another great visit ! More delicious Food and drink ! We had the lamb koftas , Nachos , this time I went for the old favourite , the Kiwi burger ! Underpriced and a struggle to finish ( but I did) washed down with some house white and Lindeboom ! 10/10 again

We only went for drinks as an alternative to local pubs, not having been in before. It was friendly and quite cosy. We shall return to try the food from the interesting menu.

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary having been before and thoroughly enjoying.Again we weren't disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection, with beautiful flavours and choices slightly different from the usual food options on offer elsewhere in the village. The cost was reasonable as we had three courses and wine.I highly recommend the sea bass main course and the... We were drawn in by the name, as we have a bit of a love of NZ. We weren't disappointed. All the food was great, home cooked and came in large portions. We ordered a combination of specials and regular menu items between us. The wine was lovely and the service very personal. We would be eating there regularly if... More

We braved high winds and lashing rain to make our way here on foot but were glad we did even though we were the only couple dining so did understandably lack a little atmosphere. Staff really friendly and left us to it (no hovering) which was great. We both had the much raved about Polynesian Chicken which was lovely and... More

Fantastic highly recommended. Wonderful food pleasant staff, very accommodating. Will definetly be coming back. We were a group of 12 we all had varying starters, main courses and desserts. All the food was divine but my favourite was the lemon and coconut cake -gluton free.Very highly recommended
