Fab Food - Fab Staff

Small place but very cosy with log fire, menu is quite small, but still a great selection for all tastes, the food was top class not only in taste but presentation. Good selection of beers including German beer, one of my favourites. Cannot say enough about this place. One you must try if your in... read more

We have stayed in Haworth for the last two yeas and always found all the perople friendly. We styed a week in January and having visited or eaten out in the local pubs we had always liked the look and feel of the Wharenui. Towards the end of our week my wife popped in to the Wharenui to see if... More

Our party numbered seven tonight and we have had a very enjoyable evening in cosy surroundings. The menu is eclectic with a pacific rim flavour. I went for the veggie chilli which was very tasty and bursting with a range of vegetables, accompanied by rice and a salad (which I felt was unnecessary). I followed this up with the apple... More

A local gem which we have overlooked for no other reason than it had been years since our last visit. What a mistake! A small & cosy setting with a tiny bar & open fire, and scrumptious food. The chef (who you can see ) realised we were enjoying our meal so much that we were eating off each others... More

The service was very good We both enjoyed our meal after studying the menu. As well as the standard menu there were also quite a few specials, making our deliberations harder. Our warm breads with olives, oil, balsamic vinegar and cheese was a great sharing starter My Devil's Elbow was delicious as was my partners Belly Pork from the specials... More

On a rain lashed afternoon my partner and I stumbled upon this little gem of a place. It was extremely cosy, ambient, and the food and staff were first rate... We plunged for the House Platter and a couple of beers, and everything was spot on, with great value for money. We'll certainly be returning to try out the evening... More

Popped in for a drink as we were staying local. I was surprised by the décor and was pleasantly surprised by the look and what they had to offer. Not a typical Yorkshire pub/restaurant. A few lagers which I hadn't had before and decided to stay for dinner. The menu was a mix of traditional English, Kiwi and Turkish. The... More
