My sister and I visited Haworth, and ate here in the evening - it was truly amazing. We ate in the main restaurant most evenings and the quality and range of food was superb. We did try some other restaurants but Nothing compared to the quality and atmosphere of this restaurant. 10 out of 10. Thank you

The Restaurant is at the top of a very steep hill and would advise anyone of a walking inability to get dropped off by car. Apart from that it is a lovely hotel resaurant with lots of character and charm,it was a quiet night after the tour when we went but like all the other places to eat it will... More

We arrived yesterday at ten to six, asked to see the menu, and were told we could not order dinner, as, ' we don't start serving till six'. The young lady's manner was abrupt and dismissive, and we left . I can highly recommend The Fleece down the road. Personnel there were warm, welcoming and fed us well!

Made my sister and I really welcome on two evenings. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The set menu choice and price were great. As my sister does not drink red wine the choice of a half bottle for me was very welcome. The waitresses were very friendly.

We went to this pub today because we had read some very good reviews. I had Cumberland sausage in Yorkshire pudding. The pudding was overcooked to the point of being burnt and was as hard as a bullet. My partner had chips which were overdone. Overrated. We went across to the Kings Arms and had two fine pints at a very... More

Went to this restaurant on Sunday evening, wasn't too busy but had a lovely atmosphere. The menu was very good. The bar and waiting staff were excellent, happy and smiling and efficient! Our meal was lovely and not too expensive. Would go back again.

After a long days travel, we wanted a meal. We were suggested here so up we came. Went for a bar meal. Food was averagely priced. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and the meal itself was well cooked and enjoyable. BUT, I went to bar to order 1 Bacardi and coke and 1 orange juice and I was charged... More

We stayed in Haworth on a Saturday and Sunday night and though the place was buzzing during the day, it went very quiet at night. We ate in The Old White Lion on Sunday evening and were the only people in the restaurant. Not surprisingly, the service was prompt and the waitress was helpful. She made a note of how... More

We booked a table in the restaurant here, after reading the Tripadvisor reviews and checking the menu on the hotel website. We were given a lovely table for two by the window, so nice and light and all in a lovely setting. We both ordered the fillet steak, filled with Stilton and wrapped in bacon. I asked for mine slightly... More

I have to admit, I was apprehensive when I first sat down at the Old White Lion. An almost empty dining room... a very large menu... it just didn't seem promising. But our innkeeper had recommended it, so... Well, thank you innkeeper! Both our dinners were excellent (my husband had the duck, I went for the two cheese tarts on... More
