Excellent fixed price evening meal

The stirrup does evening meals on a Friday and Saturday evening only till 8pm though so make sure you book. We had a fantastic 3 course meal on Friday night for around £23 starter for me was prawns and calamari on a garlic flatbread followed by a juicy steak and chips topped off with a selection of... read more

Myself and my wife visited Haworth for two nights in August and after much deliberation we chose to book a table at 'The Stirrup'. First of all after being told the restaurant was fully booked, we received a call from the restaurant chef to say he could fit us in! Which was excellent! We arrived and the two young staff... More

Stopped for a quick lunch after visiting the Bronte Museum. Several places to choose from but this looked friendly, cosy and a good simple menu. A bit dark on a rainy day but the table in window was great. The staff were very friendly, service was fast and the food simple but just right.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the Bronte Museum. The French onion soup was absolutely gorgeous. The sandwich and cream were very good too. The Staff is very friendly, service a bit patchy though. All in all a very good tea room.

Clean Restaurant, clean loo and clean table, albeit cramped. Service was good and prompt. The Cream Tea itself was lovely with warm plain scones which were very fresh and remarkably light. Coffee was good. We would certainly recommend this restaurant as a just reward for making it up the hill !!

Just popped into this modern looking place for Morning Tea for two people. The tea came in a large tea pot which provided 4-5 cups of tea in total. I don't know whether it was because we were both dehydrated from walking up Haworth Main cobbled street or because it came in a big tea pot but the Tea was... More

We walked passed the restaurant in the afternoon and popped in to ask about a table for later that evening. The waitress who greeted us was absolutely lovely and so friendly, and went out of her way to accommodate her - going as far as to rearrange tables so that she would be able to fit us in. A lady... Wonderful food and fabulous service. Probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and my commendations to the chef.

There are a lot of dreary looking eateries on Haworth's cobbled tourist street. We chose The Stirrup at random and were pleasantly surprised by the decent coffee and tea served by the attentive staff. The cream tea scones were warm and of a high standard. Thumbs up!
