I can't fault the food in any way. It was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully and served quickly. Everything was fresh and cooked to order, delicious! The restaurant isn't very big and has a relaxing atmosphere. There is no rush for you to leave and the attentive staff aren't in your face. Evening meals are only served on Fridays and Saturdays... wanted to have full English breakfast and noticed that dogs were allowed in the front part of the bistro. We have found,in the past, that food quality has to be forfeited in order to allow dogs in. But this lovely friendly little place excelled!! Our dog was greeted and treated with a cooked sausage! Our breakfast was delicious with top... More

I came here in May with no knowledge of what's good in Haworth and we were really glad we picked the Stirrup for tea! I'm not normally a big foodie but this was so tasty. I had the melted Brie with bread to start and the duck for main, they were both perfectly done and I don't know what was... More

Visited on a particularly busy Sunday for lunch. I was told on arrival that there was no tables so asked if there was a system of waiting for one? No there wasn't so I stood by the door to wait - a group of 4 people then walked in and were given a table as one stood up to leave... More

You requested a table for one person. When a table for 4 persons was evacuated it became available for 4 people???? When a suitable table for one person became available you got it???1940's weekend in Haworth is the busiest of the year and MOST people are gracious, patient and understanding. Glad you enjoyed your food though. More

When we asked the owner of the holiday cottage to recommend some where to eat we weren't dissapointed. By day a busy little bistro, catering for the lunch time visitors to haworth. By night a little more sophisticated offereing a small but perfectly formed menu. 2 bottles of wine and 2 courses for 4 people set us back just under... More

The food was fine but the service was terrible. I was with 3 other people and they managed to get 2/4 orders correct. One person ordered a jacket potato with chili and was brought tuna. When she said she had ordered chili they argued with her until she accepted the tuna, then made a face as they turned away adn... More

My husband and I visited today with our 3 children. The soup was lovely and the cakes gorgeous. Great cappuccino and Yorkshire tea, too. The restaurant is very clean and the young lady who served us was very pleasant. We would definitely go back.

We were looking for a snack in between walks on Easter Saturday and The Stirrup was the perfect place. The restaurant is only small, but the staff were polite and pleasant and the food wholesome, locally sourced and quickly prepared. Very reasonable cost too.No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

We only went in as we noticed the dogs allowed sign, it looked too nice otherwise to think we could take our dog in (& the chef came out to give him a sausage!) We sat at table in the window by the bar (no dogs in the otherside) my husband & daughter had burgers - huge but cooked perfectly,... More
