Visiting family in Apperley Bridge last Sunday I took my dog for a walk down the canal, very pleased to find Toby's tea room still open as it was raining & cold, I was happy to be allowed to take my dog inside and was even more amazed to find a doggy menu. We had a delicious hot chocolate &... More

We visited Toby's tea room this morning. We both ordered a cooked breakfast (which at £8.25 is fairly pricey) it comes with a pot of tea, but as neither of us drink tea I asked if we could have coffee instead.I was extremely disappointed to find out that I had to pay extra for coffee, even just a normal filter... The Staff are very Friendly, attentive and polite. We will visit Toby’s Tea Room again 100%. Thanks all for a great morning.

After reading all the good reviews I have to say we were very disappointed. After waiting at least half an hour for one bowl of soup when it eventually came it wasn't even hot. Will not be recommending or returning again

This Tea Room has a welcome for everybody including children and dogs. Nestled by the canal, surrounded by birdsong and ducks quacking, the tables on the raised decking provide a great outdoor setting for great coffee and superb scones.

Gorgeous setting. Clean inside and out. Didn't have cake but saw other customers purchases and they looked good and a proper portions. I had a chicken penini not much chicken but it was nice washed down with a cold bottle of Irish cider, really hit the spot. It's not cheap but it's a business not a charity. We'll be back.

If this place gets too popular I'll never get a table again!!!! Suffice to say it's a gem of a place to break the walk along the canal. Setting, food, staff, welcome all 100%

Love this place. Only my 2nd visit but I'll be back. Close to Apperley Bridge marina. Fantastic food & lovely staff. Perfect stop off in our walk from Rodley to Baildon. Wish there had been another tea room along the way!

very good coffee and cream scone here this morning, friend's bacon buttie and soup looked lovely too. Some items a bit pricey but other things well priced. Only complaint - piped music - too loud for certain and actually - maybe people come here for the peace and quiet and don't want to listen to someone else's musical taste...... maybe... More
