Lovely stop-off along the canal

Thanks to the sun unexpectedly coming out we were able to sit outside at this little cafe and enjoy the canal view with a cup of tea. Service was very friendly, there were loads of choices on the menu and the chocolate brownies were glorious!

Does everything I'd want a canal side cafe to do. In contrast with other reviews, we found the service to be good. Nice food, decent brew. Recommended!

Just returned from a walk and visit to the tea room. We ordered something to eat for my daughter and two coffees for the adults. My wife ordered soya milk. When the milk was poured in it split. This sometimes happens with soya milk but makes the coffee undrinkable. Took it back and was met with a very grumpy response,... More

Tea was cold before they brought the cakes then there was a ration on sugar and sweetener. Cake were very dry and just turned to crumbs on the plate. Wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.

We often stop here on our Leeds to Shipley walk. It's great and we (nearly) always have the posh fish finger sandwich. Recommended.

The first spring day so far this year. Lovely sunny walk by the River Aire as the tow path by the canal was closed between Rodley and Apperley Bridge. Back on the canal path going towards Shipley we discovered Toby's Tearoom at Bottom farm stables. Plenty of outdoor seating and as it was the warmest day of the year so... More

Visiting family in Apperley Bridge last Sunday I took my dog for a walk down the canal, very pleased to find Toby's tea room still open as it was raining & cold, I was happy to be allowed to take my dog inside and was even more amazed to find a doggy menu. We had a delicious hot chocolate &... More

We visited Toby's tea room this morning. We both ordered a cooked breakfast (which at £8.25 is fairly pricey) it comes with a pot of tea, but as neither of us drink tea I asked if we could have coffee instead.I was extremely disappointed to find out that I had to pay extra for coffee, even just a normal filter...
