We only visit Bradford once a year for the Media Museum & Impressions Gallery but always visit the Sparrow afterwards. It's a brilliant bar / café with a great range of beers and a friendly atmosphere. I've never eaten there as we always go to The International for a curry.

We've only visited once as we don't live in Bradford but we thought The Sparrow served a really good range of well kept ales. There was a good atmosphere when we visited and if we'd had the time we could have spent a very happy afternoon there.

A great find, popped in with a friend as we were looking for a decent place to go for a pint, and this had been recommended. A good range of ales and a nice mix of people.

Totally straight-forward drinking experience for the real ale enthusiast. It does exactly what it says on the tin. A good selection of cask ales served in friendly, unpretentious surroundings, and at reasonable prices.

As soon as you walk in the place you know it is a place where beer is the main passion. A couple of guys who love beer and want others to share their passion. It doesn't look much but that all adds to the feel. A wide selection of 'world beers' but not many on cask, however you can be... More

On a recent holiday to the USA I discovered Goose Island IPA and found out The Sparrow sells this so visited at the earliest opportunity. On a damp Monday evening we thought the bar would be quiet but every table upstairs was taken giving a good relaxing atmosphere from conversation with quiet background music. The Goose Island is £3.20 a... More

This place looks more like a cafe from decades ago, very sparse interior the bar is just a plain thing stuck at the bottom of a box shaped room, just an old boring shop opened as a bar, terrible.

There was a good atmosphere when we arrived on a Friday evening. At first, we thought that the bar might be more of a young persons hang-out but there was, in fact, a wide age range among the drinkers. We didn't have food so can't comment on that. There were 4 real ales on draft and many bottled beers from... More

A fantastic bar selling top quality craft beers, ciders and local ales. Extremely knowledgable and passionate staff. Nicely run, with a nice vibe. Very good prices too.. Especially being used to London and Leeds.. This place is great. Can't comment on the food as I've not eaten there.. I believe bar snacks are served. Who needs food when you have... More
