Never again! It was exactly the same as a normal Sunday lunch, huge queues, cold hard yorkshire puddings, went to wait 20 mins in queue and came back to eat and other diners had nicked our cutlery!! The starter was thrown together, all in all £71.95 for a disaster, I will never go again!!!

Good food at an excellent price. If you go anytime except Sunday lunchtime you will find its less crowded and little queuing.

Great for a lazy Sunday tea, worth upping the stakes to a mega plate for extra meat. Also do a great breakfast. Rated down as they were out of two types of meat on my most recent visit which was very disappointing.

Went here 2 nights ago for tea with husband & kids, only because the Huddersfield one was closed. We stood waiting at the door to be seated for a good 5 minutes with numerous members of staff passing us with no acknowledgment we were even there, finally a young girl came along with a tray of drinks in her hand... Very good carvery in a very nice and clean setting. Good seating inside and out with good service. Wide range of veg and very good puddings. Several tokens on the web at the moment to get a cheaper pudding, well worth it.

The new manager in this, our local Toby is a proper blown up self important pompous bloke who needs to look in the mirror and take a step back. He has on two occasions approached us (after we had started eating) and told us we had to move tables, fair enough if it is pre booked although they do not... More

What can I say , cold food staff who ignored us, Drives me mad these so called big companies because of their name think they don't need to provide a service, obviously next time we will choose a restaurant with a better atmosphere and pay the extra cost

On arrival it was a bit unclear what to do - at our local carvery you buy your ticket at the bar when you get your drinks, then sit where you like. Apparently at this one you wait to be seated and have a bill presented at the end. There seemed to be a good choice on the carvery, and... More
