Very good carvery in a very nice and clean setting. Good seating inside and out with good service. Wide range of veg and very good puddings. Several tokens on the web at the moment to get a cheaper pudding, well worth it.

The new manager in this, our local Toby is a proper blown up self important pompous bloke who needs to look in the mirror and take a step back. He has on two occasions approached us (after we had started eating) and told us we had to move tables, fair enough if it is pre booked although they do not... More

What can I say , cold food staff who ignored us, Drives me mad these so called big companies because of their name think they don't need to provide a service, obviously next time we will choose a restaurant with a better atmosphere and pay the extra cost

On arrival it was a bit unclear what to do - at our local carvery you buy your ticket at the bar when you get your drinks, then sit where you like. Apparently at this one you wait to be seated and have a bill presented at the end. There seemed to be a good choice on the carvery, and... More

went to Toby Carvery the food was not hot at all. The gravy was watery, some potatoes were undercooked. Although staff were pleasant and polite the food really needs to be a lot hotter. Was going to have bread sauce but this was dreadful, watery and resembled rice pudding. The meat was dry and was just offered bits. Wouldn't go... More

After my last review we visited again and they obviously read trip advisor. Different manager (male this time) no sign of the tired and tatty jumper wearer! Smart shirt n tie food up to scratch carvers on full form no dried up food beneath lights and they were monitored and refilled and even the portion if meat seemed more realistic... More

We ate at the Toby Carvey on Rooley Lane, Bradford (Old Pavillion) as a party of eight on Sunday 5th Feb 2012. We ate from the carvery and had to ask for clean plates. The lady behind me in the queue also complained. The plates were filthy, encrusted top and bottom with with old dry food, you could actually feel... More
