We recently had lunch at Woodies. The food was fresh and the taste and favours were wonderful. We were able to have relaxing lunch and service was excellent. Catered for my 2 year old granddaughter who enjoyed her specially prepared meal. We will defiantly be going back.

Woo! for the food but the service dies. It is impossible to give an overall rating for this place because of the gulf between food and front of house. First impressions mean a lot but the blank stare and lack of greeting that we got from the girl behind the bar was not a good sign. At least she had... More

Friday and Saturday nights woodies have a themed disco and dance floor which is very popular especially with 30-50+ year olds which for me is a welcome change to the younger haunts of chichester. However, last Friday being payday, you really couldn't move in there- I would say it's the first time I think they let way too many people... More

Excellent atmosphere and very attentive staff. Food was priced moderately to expensive but a number of the starters that my group were served were a little on the cool side.

I normally can't stand risotto but the meal I've just eaten was absolutely delicious. Their risotto is to die for but I fear I will try it again in another restaurant and I know I'm going to hate it again. The ambiance and service was excellent although sitting by the door at the back was a little cold and my... More

We enjoyed another visit to Woodies last week for lunch. We had a very nice table for four in the window in the lovely conservatory. As it was lunchtime none of wanted anything too heavy so we limited ourselves to two courses each. The males in the party both had Crispy Filo Prawns with Chilli and Tomato Mayonnaise and pronounced... More

Woodies has been in Chichester at least 40 years, maybe different owners, went in first when it opened. Have recently had lunch a few times, good choices , delicious food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. I would definately recommend it.

visited woodies on Friday night and I have to say in 30 years of eating out in restaurants my wife and I both agreed this was without a doubt one of the finest meals we have had. taking into account that the head chef (shane) was not around the lads in the kitchen were superb, the waiting staff were polite...
