Convenient and impressive

Very near to the centre of Chichester and most reasonably priced considering, this was our first visit. The interior is clean if not a little worn and in need of dome refreshment. However the menu was varied, the staff helpful, polite and efficient. A nice garden area to sit and a good table... read more

We arrived at 8.30 on a Friday and were greeted by the lovely staff and we sat down in the dining area. However, after waiting five minutes, I had to get up and ask for the menus. The food itself was fine - apparently the burger was lovely, but my risotto was bland to the point of tedium. Really disappointing.... More

Visited George and Dragon after a few years . Staff all very helpful , rooms very good but found the mattress to be very lumpy. Maybe time to renew. Breakfasts not as good as my last visit . Overall. Really enjoyed visit and would return when in Chichester again.

The menu selection varied and reasonably priced. The lamb was wonderful, very tender and tasty! The service was very quick and the waiter and waitress were very friendly. Had to try a pudding..mmm another hit! My partner liked the beer too which was an added bonus.

My wife and I (and baby) thought we'd venture in what appeared to be a quiet lunch venue, that soon became apparent as a popular choice for locals to dine, and we can see why. Fantastic food, friendly staff and great setting, we really enjoyed ourselves and will venture back here in the near future.

We came here two years ago and had a good evening meal. As we were in Chichester on a Sunday we thought we would go for Sunday lunch as we couldn't get in anywhere else. It was a bit late in the day so choices were limited and the place was quiet. Staff looked like they couldn't care if we... More

I've been here twice now for a Sunday roast and it's amazing, a couple of meat choices with well cooked veggies and the chefs gravy is amazing, I don't know what's in it but WOW! Today I opted for the treacle sponge with ice cream. O M G!!! It was amazing, light and yummy with some nuts and I think... More

This pub managed to fit us in at no notice, on quite a busy Saturday lunchtime. I had a generous and tasty pulled pork bap with chips and slaw. All well cooked and very tasty. I would come here again. Lovely looking pub, good service.
