great food and cocktails

great location for meeting friends food is fabulous and cocktails 2 for 1 are yum as with most bartenders - the guys love themselves and the gals are snobby but isadora is cool and makes a good cocktail! Security on door after 7pm on weekends

Friendly staff and clean. Food wasn't great, frozen rubbery chicken and undercooked veg. Steak was very chewy too. Would expect better for the price.

Bar staff friendly and helpful. Try Cumberland sausage...mustard mash was interesting. Made from Heritage potatoes but I thought it tasted of Smash...salads well presented. Soda water is free...have a seat in the window and watch the world go by.

My boyfriend and I wanted a spot of lunch and hadn't pre-booked. We arrived and we were welcomed and shown a table for us. The environment was lovely and we were served by a waitress named Laura she was very helpful. I wasn't too sure on what I fancied but she was able to recommend to me Chicken Tikka. The... More

Spent lunch here today and have to say it was nice food served well. My colleague has a number of allergies which were catered for and understood and my meal was tasty and well priced. I was a little surprised my "BREADS" choice came in a bog standard part baked baguette rather than the Artisan bread I thought it did... More

My friends have recommended that place to me. I'm a pescetarian and there was not much fish or veggie dishes to chose form. However when I finally decided what to eat it was very good. Dessert I wanted to order was off the menu, but that wouldn't spoil my dinning experience if I was recommended something else. Unfortunately staff were... More

Had fish and chips which isn't cheap here. It was watery and tasteless and everything just tasted like it was defrosted or packaged. The waiter dropped my fork in the mushy peas handle first which is always handy. A replacement would have been nice! Would have expected better quality from a national chain in terms of both service and food.

After a bad experience with the Hove branch we decided to give the chain another try rather than tarring them all with the same brush. This proved to be a mistake. We were the first customers in for a Sunday breakfast so the tables were still dirty and sticky from the previous night. We moved from the first table as... More

The restaurant was empty at 8pm on Tuesday but we waited a full three minutes at the counter to be served. The barman saw us walk in, he was standing in the dining area. I understand, sometimes you need to finish one thing before serving - but no task in hand was apparent. When he came to serve us there... More
