Description: Located in secluded square in the heart of the historic town of Chichester, Raymond Blanc's brasserie serves mouthwatering, authentic French dishes inspired by his childhood in France. The brasserie is warm and inviting and you will be welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly team who will ensure that your experience is an enjoyable wine. The extensive a la carte menu changes with the seasons and uses fresh, seasonal and local (where possible) ingredients to create classic dishes such as bouef bourgignone and moules marinieres. The set menu (fantastic value priced from £10.95 for two courses, add a glass of house wine for £2.50) changes monthly meaning that there is always a reason to visit. In warmer weather take advantage of the pretty outdoor terrace for a leisurely lunch or dinner.Whether visiting for a simple lunch or a celebration, Brasserie Blanc in Chichester is the perfect venue.

Sunday August 17 about 2.30 pm entered this restaurant and we were shown to a very visible window seat at the front by whom I think was the floor manager. We were not offered water or asked if we would like to order drinks,we were simply left. Then we saw the manager walk out the front door and away. I... More

After many dinners in Blancs we went with friends again this week for an early 5pm dinner prior to a theatre booking. We were first in the restaurant at that time, so presumably they had had time to clean and re-lay the tables. So completely overlooked by the staff, was a plague of blue bottles swarming above our table. We... More

We went here on a nice evening and took advantage of the outside space which was lovely. The restaurant is in a pedestrian area and has other restaurants around it so outside has a really nice atmosphere. The menu is varied and the service was slick and friendly and unhurried which was nice. It is typically french and the food... More

We finally tried Brasserie Blanc for the first time recently and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by our waiter who was then polite and friendly there after. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed a lovely house rosè. The decor is very well done and interesting to nose at. Overall we were very happy and will definitely return... More

We ate dinner here on Fri 8th Aug having been several times before but found the food not up to our expectations. The Queenies, although well presented, were cut up into tiny pieces so small it could have been just one scallop. The Tarte Flambee was tough & the Fresh Fig & Blue Cheese Tarte was minute - suitable as... More

Have been to this establishment on a number of occasions. The food is generally excellent quality as commented on by our French friends that we brought here for my birthday. So to celebrate my husband gaining an MA we thought it would be an excellent choice to take our 5 children aged from 29 to 12. The service was slow... More

A little slow service, not very clear on the pricing of the menu (I.e. Extra charges for particular dishes within the menu).

I have visited this restaurant numerous times and each time has been amazing. The food is always amazing, and the staff are wonderful. This last visit, we just turned up without a booking, and discovered the restaurant had a lot of bookings due to "Glorious Goodwood". But the staff still gave my son and I a table, and we had... I reviewed this restaurant last year and it still maintains a very high standard, with nice ambience and excellent staff. Our waiter, Wojciech, was extremely polite, charming and very professional. We do eat here more often than other establishments in Chichester. My husband had the Onglet steak with harissa butter. Superb and very fairly priced. House wine, bread and starter... More

Popped in late afternoon after looking around Chichester and the surrounding area. Situated in a relatively new development just off the high street, with parking directly behind, the restaurant is very attractive. There is good seating outside which is where we sat. Service was good and out waitress was, Olivia, was very friendly and efficient. We ordered a fig and... More
