Located in secluded square in the heart of the historic town of Chichester, Raymond Blanc's brasserie serves mouthwatering, authentic French dishes inspired by his childhood in France. The brasserie is warm and inviting and you will be welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly team who will ensure that your experience is an enjoyable wine. The extensive a la carte menu changes with the seasons and uses fresh, seasonal and local (where possible) ingredients to create classic dishes such as bouef bourgignone and moules marinieres. The set menu (fantastic value priced from £10.95 for two courses, add a glass of house wine for £2.50) changes monthly meaning that there is always a reason to visit. In warmer weather take advantage of the pretty outdoor terrace for a leisurely lunch or dinner.Whether visiting for a simple lunch or a celebration, Brasserie Blanc in Chichester is the perfect venue.

Like: Despite being a chain, the restaurant manages to feel like it is independent with an interesting menu - Although packed, service was excellent. Dislike: Nothing

I have been here quite a few times as a couple and with friends, I have never been disappointed. When it first opened Raymond Blanc stated that he did not want people to eat here just as a celebration he wanted it to be come a regular place and I think they have achieved that. The menu always has a... More

I visited Brasserie Blanc on a Saturday eveing with a party of 8. We were welcomed by our waiter and drinks were ordered straight away. We had 3 courses and there was a great choice on the menu. We all enjoyed the food which was well presented and full of flavour. The service was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The atmosphere... More

I love Brasserie Blanc in Chichester. The staff are attentive, knowledgable about the menu, courteous and polite. The atmosphere is elegant, cosmopolitan and has a certain French granduer that makes an evening out dining there a real treat. Oh, and the food's really good too.

Never totally convincing, this has the potential to offer a pleasant pre.theatre dinner or a gentle lunch.time venue. Worth the occasional trip but disappointing overall. As a resident of France and the Côte d'Azur, imagine the my initial amazement at the bread being included in the bill and my sheer anger partially reduced only once removed!!

RB did not let us down for a lovely Valentines meal. Service from Annabel second to none, totally attentive and a nice smile. Everything went perfectly, the drinks turned up at the right time and the food was superb. Pricey, I know but at the end of the day I far prefer to pay a bit more to get a... More

Have been a few times in the past few months and each visit has been less impressive than the last, which is a shame. The food today had hit a low point in the care taken in the cooking, particularly the mussels, which were covered in barnacles and still had their beards: they did take them off the bill once... We have regularly visited Brasserie Blanc over the years but, regretfully, our patience and desire to do so are diminishing. We find that the quality of the food is now merely acceptable but not what it once was and the service likewise. In terms of value it can only be rated as "poor" at best for there are many other...
