Quiz nights on Tuesday-brilliant

We would recommend a visit (need to book in advance) on the Quiz night , Tuesday's. Teams upto to 6 can enter and it really is a fun occasion. There is good beer and the food, mainly pies are brilliant, and reasonably priced at about £7 a dish. Competition is keen for the prizes but it is... read more

It's a proper but slightly modern take pub. The interiors are great, the staff are young and 'proper' pub staff ie friendly. The food is modern and very tasty. It's a real pleasure to visit and the food makes you happy.

We've walked past this pub many times and always thought how lovely it looked. We finally made it inside and realised just how much we'd been missing out: the staff were really friendly and helpful, the locals were welcoming, the beer was great and the location next to the park with a game of cricket going on was fantastic. Great... More

Business meeting here over a pint and a scotch egg. This little pub has a lively local feel to it. I don't know if they serve full meals here, but I can imagine that it is one of the places to be in the city of an evening

Sadly we only made it to the Park Tavern on the last day of our stay in Chichester. If we'd found it first, chances are we would have had our dinner there every day. The PT has a nice, authentic feeling. It sits on the verge of Priory Park, and we watched some crickett before going in for our food.... More

What a lovely find! Fabulous local pub with excellent beer, great pub grub, friendly locals and a friendly British bulldog called George! Ate the Toastie and hubby had a lovely doorstep sausage sandwich. Great value for money and I just wish we had the equivalent near home!

All hot and again pleasant, ok value for money, 4 lunches £40.00 drinks on top. Would I rush back, yes for the beer v handy to have a break from the shopping but probably... More

I was wandering around looking for a place to have a beer whilst my wife 'shopped' when, by chance, I spotted what seemed to be an 'independent' pub down a side street. As I got closer I could see a game of cricket across the other side of the park, the sun was shining and there were tables on the... More

This is a handy pub for shoppers/visitors being located within 250 yards of the Market Cross and main shopping streets. The pub is more spacious than appears from the outside and also has outside seating which overlooks Priory Park. An appetising menu of pubby food is offered - I enjoyed the excellent fish finger sandwich - whilst the beer is... More
