Friendly happy staff, good food and proper pub feel to it. We would visit again. Oh and the dogs were well behaved too, slept on the sofa next to us while we ate our meal, just like home!

We often call in to the Park Tavern when we have been shopping in Chichester. It's a great pub with character. Friendly staff and a nice group of customers. We have had a fantastic Sunday lunch. They have live music on a Sunday afternoon.

Great lunchtime food, good portions at a reasonable cost. Varied menu and well cooked and presented. Tucked way off the main street - but well worth finding

One of the best pubs in Chichester for me. Tucked away opposite the park but worth seeking out. It is a Fullers pub so not a great selection of real ale. There are quite interesting things on display on the walls plus the resident dog who was asleep on the sofa when I last visited. It has a good atmosphere... More

Whitebait; beetroot and smoked mackerel salad; an English muffin (not toasted? What's up with that?) topped with crabmeat and cheese before being run under the broiler and a side of decent chips. Good beer. VERY dog-friendly. Aside from the rather soggy muffin, no disappointments, food done to a good standard albeit un-special. Prices fair. Nice enough place, and very convenient... More

Had a lunch here and whilst the portions are big, the cost cheap it just doesn't ... sing. They use that phrase on tv chefy programmes and I've never really been able to slide it in a review before but ... Well it's just that, okay food that doesn't cost a lot but isn't a stand out. Good for a... More

The PT is pretty much our local and we come here often on supper club night, as we did again this week. The value for money is amazing two mains and a bottle of wine for £20 and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal in here. Good honest home cooked food - nothing pretentious or... More

Many years ago some friends and I did a Gales Ales pub crawl that involved getting a card stamped at I think 20 pubs, fortunately not all on the same night, to collect a free T shirt..... The pubs were generally good the beer certainly was, the T shirt was crap and shrunk first time it saw a washing machine.... More

Although the lunch menu is, I think, a little more limited than the dinner menu, the Park Tavern maintains a high standard - the crabmeat muffin topped with Cheddar cheese was very tasty. the resident dogs are delightful, and the place is wonderfully dog-friendly. and it's an easy walk from the theatre too.
