Just pop in after walking the dog, fantastic coffee and really good home made cakes and service :) Dog friendly outside, we will come again.

Wellies is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. The staff are very welcoming. We dropped in after walking our dog at Kingly Vale. We sat on the deck at the back in the beautiful sunshine and our dog was made very welcome and was given water too. I'll be going back for lunch with some... More

Apart from two others, we appeared to be the only people (4) for lunch that day. Food was very good as was the service. Sat outside and had a relaxing time over a couple of hours. Fishcakes/Caesar Salad/Ham egg and chips/Quiche and ice cream to follow. Situated in the middle of the countryside west of Chichester, I think they need... More

Went here for lunch organised by a friend as had been several times before and previously had a enjoyable meal. On arrival shown to table given menus. Not until our orders were being taken were we informed that they could not serve alcohol due to the new owner not having a licence. As a party of 6 out on a... More

i went to Wellies today for lunch. I was amazed at the lovely meal I had. The fish cakes are to die for. Presentation was great. Water was bought to the table as soon as we sat down. Which was a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive too. I really wanted to try the lemon meringue pie,but had no room... More

I was lucky enough to be taken to Wellies for a cream tea in March and was so very impressed that when it was my daughters birthday , I booked the same for myself and 4 daughters. Unfortunately the second experience was woefully lacking in anything except mediocrity!! I can't tell you how disappointed I was in both quality and... More

Huge surprise when Martin and Charlotte were not there when we popped in. We were informed that there was no chef on Mondays so ordered a chicken and bacon baguette. Water brought at the end of service, baguette generously filled but so dry. Salad had no dressing ... Very amateurish sadly.
