What a lovely place, gorgeous food, very friendly staff, we came here twice for food on only a short holiday break and both times were excellent! I would highly recommend this beautiful dog friendly pub to everyone. *****

Went here last Saturday evening with family who were on holiday in the area. We all ordered from the 'Cottage' menu, where everything is priced at £8.95 - plenty of choice of traditional 'pub' food. Our drinks arrived quickly, followed shortly afterwards by the food, which was obviously freshly cooked and well presented. This was followed by desserts, again excellent.... More

Very good food and nice surroundings good place to relax for the evening,also when the place is less busy you can have a coffee

We stopped in for lunch, had a good varied menu, a little pricey. Food & service was good. They have a nice outdoor garden area so will definitely go back when the weather turns nice.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Walnut, found the management and staff very friendly and the food excellent. The atmosphere is also really good.

Went along to the Walnut Tree last Saturday 13th April to celebrate a 50th birthday bash!! all in all had a great evening at the Walnut, the buffet food was outstanding very fresh cut sandwiches, with hot food served as well, thought that staff made great efforts to make sure everybody enjoyed themselves, as we did very much!! would recommend...
