We went mainly on the recommendation of our daughter who had been before and to listen to a lovely singer called Amie Baker who we had heard before. We found the staff to be very helpful especially as when it started to rain and we sitting outside, they quickly found us a table inside. We did find the portions small... More

It look so inviting and the anticipation of a lovely lunch lay ahead! How wrong could we be! Portion sizes so small my eight year old would still be hungry. Don't get me wrong what was on the plate was delicious but at £28 for 3 and still to be hungry is a bit much. We decided to go elsewhere... More

We popped in to this restaurant while looking around Arundel. Very friendly with menu to suit most tastes - hot and cold. Raspberry lemonade was wonderful on a hot day. Service was prompt and not pushy!! Set back from Tarrant St so feels central but away from the hussle and bustle. We'll go again when we're there.

When my friend and I spotted this restaurant on a hot sunny day, it looked so inviting so we thought we'd eat a late lunch there. We went in, were given menus and chose what we wanted; both of us ordered ciabatta sandwiches, and at 5p off £9 I was expecting an amazing crab feast. Sandwiches arrived, but you had... More

We stumbled upon Sage on a sunny afternoon. We often go to Arundel and have several favourite restaurants serving excellent food with great service. We thought we would try somwhere new. With outdoor seating and live music we thought we found a gem. The young waitress was polite a quick to take our order. A different waiter bought out our... More

I attended here recently as a member of a dining club, must have been 20 of us attending on the evening in question. I have a particular food allergy (herbs), which prevents me from ordering Lamb at most restaurants I visit. I mentioned this to the staff at Sage and they advised that as long as I gave them 48hrs... Popped into Sage on Saturday morning for breakfast and had a good breakfast. The welcome was pleasant and we found a good table, service was "unhurried", the menu was a little limited but this isn't a major issue as what they do they do well. The breakfast was good, my full English was a little small (but I have a... More

I must say we are surprised and dumbfounded at the complete change from one month ago. Lacklustre service, tired pretentious food that fails to really taste of anything and is so unsatisfying... We are really disappointed as one month ago we thought we had found a gem.... We will not return to waste our money here on an overpriced menu... More

The atmosphere and the food were excellent (you'll enjoy it even more if you like jazz). The service was very professional and attentive but casual at the same time. You were made to feel very welcomed. We had a chance to chat to the head chef - real pro!
