Great place to stop!

We stopped in late on the way to Arundel last evening. The service was very good and fairly quick, even though our server told us that there was a delay in the kitchen due to heavy orders. We had the chicken pie, a lovely beef burger, and a flatbread, as well as the baked Camembert for a starter... read more

I stopped in here for lunch on my way back from Brighton, as I'd spotted it on the way out and it looked promising. However, I was disappointed on all fronts. The staff seemed to be reluctant to venture from behind the bar, so it took them a while to notice I'd finished my starter. The starter itself was far... More

Well staffed, with excellent food and a good selection of beers. We had a great meal here and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the White Swan Inn for a night and cannot recommend it. Rooms are very basic. We even spotted a cobweb in the bathroom. Definitely too expensive for what they offer.

The burgers were nice and service friendly. Prices were quite expensive - £12 for burger and chips. Lovely setting though, a nice looking pub.

Had a lovely Sunday double date having a ridiculously large carvers then sat in the quiet garden out the back enjoying the peace and quiet. Really good venue.

We recently came here as a group of 30 people. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. They gave us a lovely room that opened up to the verandah - allowing us to open the doors, of which we were very glad as it was a scorching day! The food was plentiful, delicious and very well presented. All 30 of... More

We stopped at The White Swan on the A27 on the outskirts of Arundel on Sunday last for something to eat on the way home to Gosport after visiting the Mother in law. I had the Roast Beef and my wife had the Pork and although it is a carvery at Lunctime on a Sunday we were too late and... More

We found this restaurant on trip adviser while we were en route from Dorset to Eastbourne and were in need of a child friendly place to have dinner. We phoned ahead and booked a table for 7pm. When we arrived, the hotel was fairly busy but the waiter/barman was happy to put in our starving 5 year old order immediately... More

I've always enjoyed the carvery at The White Swan. Have to say though that the service seems to be getting better and better. Staff are always polite, attentive and try to make each experience better and better. The carvery food gets better with each visit and the focus is much more on quality now than just quantity. Well done guys... More
