The service was very good with very helpful staff eager to make the experience a great one. The food was very well cooked and presented and the profiteroles just rounded off a perfect dining experience.

A relative and partner were staying in arundel so we met up for a meal. We wanted somewhere not to formal or expensive and having passed the The White Swan several times we thought we would give it a try. The White Hart is divided almost in two, one half the traditional pub which had quite a few guests enjoying... More

I'd start this review by saying that I have had previous poor experiences here but felt it was due another look in. We all opted for the carvery, and wow have these guys upped their game. None of the previous bland and unappetising; first class cauliflower cheese, great roasted parsnips, lovely gravy ... a real surprise and made such a... More

We were seated immediately as wasn't busy and waiter took a drinks order and we asked them to come back after we decided which they didn't. After that Everything else we wanted we had to order at the bar because nobody came over. Food was served quickly but wasn't great, thought overpriced for the quality. Service dreadful, almost non-existant. Wouldn't... More

We wanted somewhere to take Mum for Sunday lunch as a belated birthday celebration not too far from her Worthing flat, so I picked this pub from reviews. Although it's an attractive venue, the service was very slow. The bill for three of us came to just over £69, even though we didn't go overboard. I was shocked to see... More

We booked a table from 12 noon and didnt leave till around 3pm, had a lovely meal, sunday carvery, dessert. & coffee, which comes with a very yummy biscuit. the pub was busy and staff seemed a bit pushed, but still managed to smile and give good service and we never felt they wanted us off the table.

We had a great double celebration. The service at The White Swan Inn cannot be bettered. Although we were a little early, our table was ready and we were led to our places promptly and made comfortable. What an interesting building - the very heart of the Inn is obviously very old indeed. It must have been an old farmhouse... More

My husband has regularly used this hostelry to hold meetings with staff during the mornings when it's quieter and has always commented on how polite and helpful the staff are. Based on this, he booked a table for a late lunch here on Mothers Day for me, himself and our son. We were seated very promptly and our drinks order... More
