OK

Good size pub with children's play area. Had to queue a while to order food with just one member of staff behind the bar even though it was a Saturday. Ordered a lemonade for my daughter & said I didn't want the refillable, but was given no choice you have to buy the refillable even though we never... read more

The food here was bland and not very warm, on top of that the service was slow and no apologies. Not a good advert for Brewers Fayre

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. Had to wait awhile for it to come out but was worth it. Staff were sparse but place was welcoming and friendly.

Well what can I say!!! I felt really guilty about complaining about my meal last sat 28th March. My partner and I had enjoyed a lovely evening at the Greyhound Pub and decided we would try this place as a friend had actually recommended it. But I can honestly say I wish we hadn't bothered it was extremely poor .... More

I have been satisfied with this place in the past.. Decent meal for the price paid but on the last occasion I went - 27th Feb - it was not good in many ways. A major complaint is the music. Much too loud and annoying. Makes you feel really bad before the meal comes. Never used to be like that.... More

One of the worst meals I've ever had. Ordered Gammon steak (liquid all over the plate), fried eggs,(they had a hard skin on the top from standing for goodness knows how long), jacket potato (this wrinkled thing looked like it had been microwave cooked, then reheated), and peas ( the small amount were edible). Then I ordered the fruit salad,... More

Visited for a family meal out. 3 kids and 5 adults and all had terrible meals, cold tasteless and poorly presented. Will not be visiting again. Service rubbish staff clearly not interested in providing a good service.

My experience of Christmas dinner in the sparrow. After waiting for an eternity for it to arrive, wish it hadn't. Would have preferred an actual sparrow. Soggy spuds, bland Turkey. Virtually no gravy or sauces. The staff didn't have a clue what was going on. No apologies or indication of any intelligence to be found.

A pre ordered Xmas meal for 30 plus of us that belong to a club.... Starters arrived gradually - some finished before otters started. Side salads made with brown wilted leaves, breaded mushrooms like bullets and runny garlic mayonnaise .. Prawn cocktails not to be desired. Main courses arrived nearly an hour later and some nearly an hour after that... More
