Meh

This restaurant is nice enough. The staff are friendly and the prices reasonable. But the food is uninspiring. I had chicken breast linguini. It was a bit pallid with a tasteless sauce on al dente pasta. My friend had pulled pork sandwich and described it as pork in gravy in a massive panini with... read more

Works party. Arrived to a broken central heating system . Pre booked starters and mains for food to arrive at 5.15. Starters arrived at different times. Mains came out across a period of 30 minutes. One person had a RAW chicken breast. One person was waiting a good half hour or so after some of us had finished. I thought... More

Visited with my family for lunchtime refreshments before visiting the Birmingham Hippodrome due to its close proximity. It is literally only seconds from the main entrance to the venue ensuring that you can relax before the show. We ordered jasmine green tea and hot chocolate with carrot cake and chocolate and Guinness cake. This was bought to our table by... More

I went to the Green Room Saturday early evening as we were going to see Aladdin in the evening and the menu seemed good. I ordered lamb shank and my partner had pasta with a side of garlic bread. His pasta dish arrived with the garlic bread and we said to the waitress that my food was still to come... More

I've just returned from a lovely afternoon at the pantomime only mared by the meal at the Green Room. There were nine of us, we arrived early and ther was only a few people in there. The first two meals out were going cold - even the chips. The next two had hot chips and warm main part of the... More

We (two adults and two children) went here for an early evening meal on 30th December before going to the pantomime at the Hippodrome, just opposite this restaurant. I can only describe the food as expensive for, what was, very poor quality. My two grandchildren had burgers which were not hot and were very dry. I asked for one of... More

We recently went to the Christmas Panto at the Hippodrome, Birmingham. We arrived early because we were aware of all the roadworks in town and wanted to allow plenty of time before going to the theatre. Parked down the road in the usual open air car park (£3.70 all day) and walked up to the theatre where we found the... More

This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in! Horrendous service, dirty tables, poor hygiene!! My poor niece ended up going hungry due to hairs on her plate! Too embarrassed to 'cause a scene' as we had such issues with service prior to finally being served any food! Give this place a miss!! Just awful!!!!
