Red hot peppers

Visited the mailbox quarter on business, evening stroll resulted in stopping at RedPeppers. Nice welcome, friendly and attentive staff. Varied menu, food choice well presented. Old habits die hard, burger it was, the special, portobello mushrooms and goats cheese, nice. Couple of drinks, tip, all... read more

Been here a few times now and it's not the kind of place to be taken too seriously. However what it does really well is cater for the mainstream just don't expect to come here and expect gastro heaven! I had the burger and chips this time as wasn't especially hungry and a glass of house red. Both the wine... More

Lovely late afternoon lunch there - pleased to see a gluten free menu dedicated for ease of ordering. A nice selection of mains but starters and desserts a bit thin on the ground (ice cream is gluten free but not on the menu). Had the Coconut Chilli Chicken Risotto - gorgeous dish. A little oily at the end and the... More

Late Sunday afternoon visit for pizza, mixed salad and very nice 500ml carafe of Chilean Merlot red wine. My pizza, the chèvre goats cheese was very tasty. My wife's margarita pizza was over baked we feel as the cheese was in parts chewy instead of being sticky and succulent. We did mention this and we were offered an alternative. The... More

Pleasantly surprised, wasn't expecting anything great as its a chain, however, the staff were so helpful and efficient. 6 of us were eating and it was very busy so we were expecting delays in food etc but they had everything spot on from drinks orders to special requests for changes in the menu. Would have no hesitation in recommending this... More

Had lunch here on a Saturday. Very busy, nice atmosphere. Food was poor. Partner had nachos which were dried out. Ordered without guacamole but it still arrived with it. My chicken Caesar salad tasted processed & far too salty. Nice waiting staff but overpriced.

They've not always got it 100% right but this visit was top notch! Lunch time special around £8 including a soft drink resulted in us rather full & wishing we didn't have to return to our desks. We both ordered £5.95 special: a soup with a wrap and a sandwich with fries. My mushroom soup was indeed fresh, beautifully seasoned... More

Great food, served by pleasant staff in a great location and a fresh bright looking decor. Would go again if in the mailbox area.

We were going out to a show at the theatre and decided to have some dinner before. We wandered through the building site that is currently the mailbox and got to the food places. It was a Saturday night but it was still early - even so, lots of places looked very busy. We saw this place and liked the... More
