Lively restaurant, good food & service

Very lively restaurant, ideal for groups. Nice varied menu. Can recommend the Steak & Lobster sharing dish. Good service.

We opted for the Quick Lunch menu. Both ordered fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish and chips was absolutely wonderful, the fish so light and crispy. Nice mushy peas and tartar sauce. The restaurant is lovely in summer with the huge terrace. The only slightly negative point is that the service was a bit slow. We were told... More

A frustrating place really. i have to occur with the occasional poor review that does turn up on this restaurant. A nice layout and decent food but the service is poor. The staff were friendly enough, but poorly trained. Our starters were missed completely, I had to ask the waitress three times for a bottle of water and the drinks... More

I really enjoy Bank as a restaurant. It is expensive but the money spent is very much worth it. The atmosphere is modern and nice without being stuck up and has two nice seating areas front and back. We had a Christmas dinner here and the service was great and the food very good. I will certainly be back next... More

Great place for food either sitting looking over the canal or in better weather sitting outside. Excellent cocktails if you don't want food. Food choice really good and high standard of cuisine

This was my third visit to Bank, and the food was as delicious as always. Food was cooked to perfection - really, REALLY scrummy. Scallops, asparagus tart, steak with peppercorn sauce, it was all a taste sensation! The new dining area is a welcome addition as it can feel quite an oppressive / loud area if you are inside. Good... More

Food good but service terrible. Now I understand why the "10% discretionary service charge" is automatically added to the bill!

Went as a party of 8. Food was great as usual. Our waiter let the evening down. We had to grab him for drinks. Just was not very attentive. As he gets service charge anyway was looking after the smaller table. Bottle cap in one of the cocktails. No real apology. Just that drink free.
