Great sunday lunch

Visited as a large group for a birthday celebration..... The sunday roast is one of the best I've had and very good value. Service great. My only criticism is the poor kids menu. It's very limited and not good value as it doesn't include a drink or dessert. No Sunday roast option for kids... read more

Very impressed. Great menu varied in options to suit all. Starters were very tasty and worth the money. Mains was the Tomahawk steak for 2. Massive, we struggled to finish it !! though a small dessert was also consumed and enjoyed (why not..) Wine prices are on a par from a restaurant perspective, though the wine choice was probably more... More

We went here for a very special occasion as my son graduated as a doctor. The staff treated us well and the food was vey nice. The ambience was good and the place added to our special evening. We all had different choices from the menu and each of them were well cooked, tasty and enjoyed by us. Puddings were... More

I rang to book a table at this restaurant and the first woman I spoke to was pleasant but said I needed to provide some card details. I didn't have my purse to hand so said I would call back later. I called back and asked if they could explain how my card would be used and was told if... More

Please note I try to be objective in my reviews and feel that I mostly achieve this but I was so disappointed with the service at Bank I may not be as objective as I would normally like....Visited Bank during a Thursday evening out; to say we were disappointed is an understatement . We waited so long to get served... More

We visited Bank for the fIrst time for one member of the party and had an excellent Mothers day experience . Perhaps we might have been lucky and avoided at 6.00 p.m the rush and crowds. We also ate off the a la carte menu and no complaints upon the fish and steak meals. Service was friendly and efficient throughout... More

Upon arrival the table we had booked was not ready so we proceeded to the bar for a drink while we waited. Once we were seated the waitress welcomed us and was relatively pleasant (this was short lived) every time a question was asked about something on the menu she would look at us in disgust and roll her eyes... Came for dinner with my partner before a concert across at the NIA. We opted for the 2 courses at a really reasonable £15 each. We booked for 4:30pm as we knew it would get busier the later it got. Had to stand for 5 minutes or so but were seated in a lovely riverside spot. Our waitress and other... More

Usually very good not so on Sunday, bank was busy but no busier than a Saturday night. We ordered the special platter roasts for 4 of us - staff couldn't tell the difference between lamb & beef. Food was stone cold, over cooked and after 50 minute wait between starter and main, we lost the will to live. We left... More

My nieces pre booked BANK for mothers day, on arrival we were asked to wait at the bar as our party was not all here. We waited 35 minutes before being seated only after my niece approached the hostess. We were not seated long before a waiter came and took drinks order, he then came back 15mins later for our...
