Not worth a second visit.

As Harvesters go, in general they are normally OK, not super wonderful but OK. The Arden Oak was very poor, it's the first time I've walked around the salad island and come away not wanting anything, the meal was average to poor although the waitress was very good. Food was very average, nothing special.we had jd steak and ribs.was fine.just overload on chips to fill the plate up.The salad bar was well presented with a nice selection. Found the staff a bit disorganised .And a lack of seating for bar area.

You normally know what to expect when you go to a chain, such as a Harvester, Beefeater etc. but i am afraid to say we did not get that here. It was a Sunday evening and I was told that they were busier than usual and that we would need to wait about half an hour, which was just as... More

Three of us bowled in for some lunch...We were shown to a table and left with menu's but our waitress disappeared quickly without taking a drinks order...We had to ask for a drinks order. The meal order was taken and the wait acceptable. The food today was quite bland, a shame because normally it's quite good. The bill came to... More

My honest opinion is im struggling to understand what all these bad reviews are about. We visited on 18th january on a sunday afternoon at 4pm. It was Very busy which was to be expected so we was told to grab a seat and wait 15min. We was a group of 6 and within 10min we was called for our... More

Have visited this harvester many times and each time it gets slowly worse.Evening meals are not to bad but the breakfast is a let down, you either wait to long for your breakfast to arrive and when it gets there it's cold,or it arrives in a reasonable time and it's still cold. This has happened too often won't have a breakfast again.

We came here for breakfast as we had visited a Harvester for breakfast before. What I like about a Harvester breakfast is that the hot food is cooked fresh and to your liking. There was lots of choice on the continental section, the fruit was very fresh and tasty, the juice was cold and plenty of choice for toasting. (A... More

This was a spur of the moment decision to visit this local harvester, as we hadn't been here for a very long time. Although the staff were very friendly and the main courses were well presented and cooked to our liking, we were let down by the poor offering on the salad bar and what seemed to be a restaurant...
