We have been here before but this was our first visit with our 15 month old son. The 3 of us popped in for a meal on spec. The staff were very welcoming and offered to cook a half size portion of pasta for our little boy which he really enjoyed. Our meals were nice and the garlic bread is... read more

Food was possibly one of the best Italian dinners I've had in a while! Much better than the known franchises! Staff where lovely and polite and friendly really made us feel welcome. Would defiantly visit again there was a really good selection of meals and deserts need to try them all! Defiantly worth a visit.

We always enjoy this little Bistro (with larger dining area upstairs) the food is consistently delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient. We use this restaurant for romantic meals for two, family occasions and parties and its always good, they always deliver first class food. My favourite is the King Prawn starter followed by pepper steak which is always... More

Went with friends and chose the set menu. Food arrived and one of the meals was not what was ordered. No apologies and staff very hesitant to take the meal back Dessert was still frozen. Yet again no apology tried to fob us off with that was how the dessert should be Utter loud of rubbish.

Tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and will definitely return. The food was piping hot and very tasty - nothing like the Italian food served in well known chains. The waitress was lovely. When we had to return some time later to ask if she would book a taxi, she couldn't have been nicer even... More

Staying in Birmingham last weekend but wanting somewhere out of the city centre that served on a Sunday evening. Once again TripAdvisor to the rescue. A very unprepossessing venue; on the main Hagley Road just down from the Bear at Bearwood. Thought it might be noisy but not at all. Just a good atmosphere both the surroundings and the people.... Treated my friend to a Birthday meal because she liked Italian food. Good service, good food, good company! The only criticism is the lighting in the ladies toilets. There was a main light where the sink & dryer is but in the actual toilet, there was no light.

It was my birthday recently and after trying a few local restaurants to see if they could accommodate large parties I found Casa Italia extremely helpful and accommodating. We had the room upstairs and booked it for 50 people. We all preordered and when we got there they were so organised it made my night enjoyable. Considering there were 50... More

I have just read some of the reviews on trip advisor and it has prompted me to put my own on. I have been using this restaurant for over 23 years. Previous owner from 20+ years ago and current one. I have NEVER been disappointed. Garlic bread is the best I have tasted. I travel to Italy alot and this... More
