Been here several times with friends. Great authentic Polish dishes and friendly service. I would highly recommend.

Looking at the reviews of fellow 'advisors', this is a fantastic location for an afternoon meal. My family and I pre-booked a table and had a very enjoyable luncheon here at the Karczma. Externally the building doesn't stand out, however the interior décor is very warming and has a comfortable atmosphere. Our service was very good and well, the food... More

I've been to the Karczma several times now, most recently on Tuesday. All I can say is that the standard is still set way high. Although it doesn't look inviting from the outside to some (personally I love the brutalistic design of the Polish Millennium House). Once you walk in you are transported to a warming log cabin hidden in... More

We visited this restaurant early Saturday evening. We were made to feel very welcome and our waiter was very friendly and attentive- he talked us through the menu and gave recommendations. The food when it came was hearty and delicious. The wine and the vodka were excellent. We are looking forward to going back

We went here for dinner, it was really lovely, the place is cosy with sheepskins on the seats. The mulled wine is beautiful and the food really tasty, and ample portions. Had a really good evening and definitely recommend.

A lovely refuge from the weather on a miserable Boxing Day evening. We enjoyed three courses of hearty food which came in very generous portions. Service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The cabbage and mushroom dumplings were particularly tasty.

This was the 7th visit, for Sunday lunch with friends, including young children. This is one of a very few restaurants I would recommend without reservation - though I do recommend you make one! They get very busy, and deservedly so. One thin: there are lots of vegetable and salad accompaniments, very good quality, but more vegetarian dishes are needed.... More

We used to visti "The Karczma" couple times since December 2012. I was always happy with service and food but till our last visit. Food portions became very small, prices gone up some time ago, and we never complained about that, but now when portions are so small you just can not complain! Food is still nice prepared, but for... More

At the outset anyway thanks for the feedback . I do not know the hull of the opinion of the portions are smaller? All the time the portion size is the same. I see pictures, I see two other dishes that are served in a different way. Still, my wife is a chef and I changed nothing in our cuisine... More

Having picked this restaurant based on its trip advisor reviews we were not disappointed. The warm welcome and striking interior created a very unique atmosphere. The authentic Polish dishes were very well presented and most importantly tasted delicious. A great experience and for anyone wanting to try something different well worth a visit particularly as it is located a short... More

My husband and I paid our first visit to The Karczma for lunch today, it was a great experience. We wanted to try so many different dishes but we took the advice of our waiter, the food was well presented and so delicious. I couldn't finish all my beef stew pancake so they packed it into a polystyrene container which... More
