Called in late afternoon for a drink and something to eat. The decor is very tasteful with nice wall art and at that time of day the pub had a nice feeling as it wasn't too busy. Beer good and a varied menu although I personally would like a few more vegetarian options. Staff friendly and quick service. Food hot... More

If you're dining on a budget this is a lovely place to eat - staff are very very helpful, and food is fresh and tasty. The drinks are excellent value too. It has a lovely contemporary feel to it while maintaining an atmosphere of an old English pub - difficult to describe, but it is a very pleasant experience to... More

We consistenly find that this pub, seated at the base of the lickey hills, is ideal for a restful, usually quiet, enjoyable meal. The staff, although it appears that they are overworked (but who isn't?), are cheerful, welcoming and friendly. The meals are of a good standard but allow plenty of time to just sit and chat or read a... More

Very slow in serving up three salads and a goulash. Baked Caemenbert was small for the price but house salad at £4.50 plus £2 for chicken and £3 for salmon fillet was good value. Confusing display of cask beers "Coming soon" Only two other tables eating on a Saturday night but food took 45 minutes to arrive.

Great tidy pub, nice food and good entertainment, would avoid Friday night or leave before 9pm if your looking for a quiet evening. Nice to drop in after a walk over Cofton Park or The Lickey Hills.

Called in for evening meal after a day out at Warwick and found this place to be excellent in all areas. Nice big car park, plenty of outside space and friendly bar staff. The food and waitress service was excellent and the general atmosphere of the pub was relaxed - a nice place to end our day.
