The above dish, served with Kale and followed by white chocolate cheesecake was perfect. There - I've said it now! Great food, service and relaxed atmosphere. I'll be going to The Marwood in Worcester, which is their sister site and hope it's as good. Cheers!

I wish people would have. The food was excellent but luke warm, as was the coffee. The portions are small and expensive. They tasted amazing but we're more like canapés than a meal. The staff ignore yourather than making eyes contact our dating they will be with you shortly. The person in chafe of the bar was obviously having a... More

I have just returned from a lunch at Drop Forge with my Mum. I live just round the corner but haven't been before but it is conveniently close to the station. I had a haloumi, sun blushed tomato and red onion sandwich as a salad and asked for chicken as an extra, to which they happily obliged. My mum had... More

Lovely ambience, nice surroundings. Fabulous stop off in between buying! What a shame that the wine list was out of stock for two of out first choices. No compensation offered just had to pay more for a wine we didn't really want!

The first thing to admire about this gastro pub is the architecture. It was once a jewellery manufacturers and all the red brick and the cosy corners are a testament to it. Service is excellent. Attentive but not obtrusive. It's clearly a place that locals come to drink and they sit in the alcoves and sofas. For those more interested... More

Like this place but the real ale is super warm was nasty! Bit of a shame - nice atmosphere and mostly foodie place. Handy for home but needs better beer and selection.

I visited this venue very near to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham to meet up with some friends. It was my first ever visit to the venue. I was impressed by the decor which has a variety of seating styles to suit a group, or one-to-one intimate setting. The staff were warm and friendly. Sure, I thought some of the... More

As the name implies, it is set inside a traditional jewellery factory with token bits of machinery mounted high up. The center of the restaurant/ gastopub is open to the original double height ceiling which although it makes the area airey, it does also make it feel a little Spartan and certainly not cosey. The food is good ( I... More

We visited a month or so ago and was a surprise as we were heading elsewhere. really enjoyed it. The food was a little bit dearer but the quality was that little bit better so you don't mind paying a little extra. It was worth it. A nice ambience, so we will be visiting again
