Went to Carters on Thursday night with my husband and daughter and we had a memorable lovely meal and evening. 5 Course dinner with amuse bouche of chicken liver cereal (gorgeous) radishes with miso and trout roe bon bons. First course was English broad beans with majoram and iced goats milk - so Fresh and refreshing, followed by Albacore Tuna... More

We went to Carters for my birthday last Thursday after reading the reviews on here and needless to say, we weren't disappointed. The quality, intricacy and beauty of the menu is astounding and far exceeded our expectations. The staff were highly attentive but not too fussy and provided us with brilliant recommendations on the wine. If you're looking for somewhere... More

The quest for perfection requires constant patience, determination and belief. Where there is an amazing intuitive chef talent and a dedicated waiting team, belief has a great opportunity to become reality in creating a whole restaurant experience with the most incredible food. Today’s lunch was true perfection, a testament that if you want to taste really amazing food, then the... More

Went to Carter's for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had booked but there was no problem getting a table and there was plenty of room in the restaurant so we could choose where we sat. Staff were very welcoming and super-friendly, making us feel relaxed and welcome as soon as we walked in. As a picky pescetarian, I am... More

I had heard a lot about this place and decided to go for lunch with 9 other friends. Staff was very friendly and had catered for all our dietary needs. We had a three course meal and the food was delicious. Sad bit was that the portions were tiny although the sticky toffee pudding was the saving grace. However the... More

It's a bit of a treat, but an evening meal for 2 at Carters is a delight. Do difficult choices - just 5 courses that leave you feeling "just right" in terms of being full Staff were lovely - will go again

We loved Carters! It had been recommended to me several times by a friend so I booked a Sunday Lunch meal for my husband and I. We had the 3 course menu for £28.00 per person which was excellent value for the quality of food we received. The service was great and every member of staff we spoke to was... More

We've dined at Carters a number of times now.....and we keep coming back. Time after time they just keep getting it right. I wouldn't describe us as "foodies", I hate that term, we do enjoy good food but more than that, we enjoy a good atmosphere and good service - Carters tick all those boxes and then some! The fixed... Finally made short trek to Moseley to check out the burgeoning reputation of Carters - and it certainly lived up to its buzz. At £20 a head the lunch 3-course menu is a steal - my choice of devilled ducks' hearts, lamb faggots with pea purée and sticky toffee pudding was a delightfully English journey through the senses. The service... More

We had Sunday lunch at this restaurant a few weeks ago and were not disappointed. We normally eat at Simpsons one Michelin star in Edgbaston but decided to give Carters a try. The food was excellent as was the service, attentive but not to fussy. Felt very relaxed, unpretentious and was good value for money. We will be back!
