Just wonderful

The best restaurant I have visited. Fantastic in all respects. Particularly loved the chicken liver cereal and sea trout course. Highly recommend.

I think the title summarises quite well. My partner and I visited last Friday for a meal out. The service and atmosphere was lovely but the food just didn't have the wow factor. It was nice and well presented but just not great especially when you compare with places we have been for a similar price. My advice - save... More

We loved every course. Everything tasted great and we had just enough on every course for what we wanted. The staff were friendly and appropriate good at gauging just what we wanted.

It’s about time that somebody wrote a Trip Advisor review of Carter’s of Moseley that does this marvellous restaurant justice. Following our latest, exquisite dinner at Carter’s, I reached the conclusion that it may as well be me. I hope that the following fits the bill. I think I may as well state up front that I believe Carter’s of... More

We went to Carters of Moseley just over a month ago now for my birthday and found a gem. We tried a variety of exquisite food from the tasting menu and I had one of my favourite ever glasses of wine, the Umbrele Sauvignon Blanc. The service was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I see that it has been... More

I was taken here by a business friend and had a fantastic experience. Course after course of inventive, delicious food was brought to our table. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine restaurant - i wish it was closer to home!

Had heard great things about Carters for a couple of years but never ventured that far out of town! Should have gone sooner. We had a couple of drinks first in Moseley village, which was vibrant and welcoming, before heading up the hill to Carters. There was a limited choice on the fixed tasting menu, but that's what I like... More

My better half booked a table here for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. The black headed gulls egg taster was delicious - only a certain number of eggs can be gathered per year to conserve the species; like most of the ingredients either ethically or locally sourced (or both). I'm not sure whether the restaurant is Michelin starred or... More

No, lunch isn't £28 per head - that's where it starts. If one of you is driving, (me), then it's probably going to be nearer £45, including drinks. Is it worth it? A definite yes. This is a friendly restaurant where the service and the food work hand in hand to provide guests with an informative and very enjoyable experience.... More
