Carters is a quality act. Holly front of house exudes charm and her staff are wonderful. Kitchen is spot on. Wine list excellent. Gascon red superb. Food super. Fresh intense flavours. Fish always great. Duck broth echo of asia. Lovely place puts many London establishments in the shade. Enjoy.

We went to Carters for Saturday lunch. Food was exceptionally good. Carters is a fine dining restaurant, so portion sizes weren't large, however, both myself and husband were not hungry at the end of our meal. Service was first class, and servers were really knowledgeable about the food being served. Would highly recommend.

I ate at Carters last night with a mate, and it's straight to the top of places I'd recommend to go for dinner. We went for the Dinner menu and matching wines, which comes in at £89 a head. The food is modern British, using classic British ingredients cooked beautifully. The staff knew where everything was sourced from, down to... More

We ate here yesterday for the first time and will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was relaxed but the service was efficient and professional. We ate from the fixed price lunch menu choosing, venison, sea bass and rhubarb cake and then shared a cheese course. Every course was cooked and served to an extremely high standard and there was... From the moment we walked through the door felt welcomed and special. The ambiance is relaxing and intimate. We had the tasting menu and chose the wine pairing for one but we both tried the wines. We were educated our way through the wine and food and it was lovely to learn the provenance of everything. We were convinced that... More

We have been here many times, the latest being for my wife's birthday. As she is pregnant she has some dietary requirements, these were met without the least bit of fuss even suggesting things from the menu that they would substitute. The front of house suggested a nice non-alcoholic beer that my wife seemed to enjoy more than she thought... More

Lots of my friends and family have been to Carters and said it was fab so I chose to go there for my friend husbands birthday, we were all very excited to try it. But we found we were rushed and the food was not very exciting. The staff were friendly but they did seem to rush us along. The... More

Me and my wife visited to be wowed and amazed by the pres-elected menu, we were both extremely disappointed, we paid £140 for finger food, ALL the portions were designed for kids, we were both looking forward to the Monk-fish, we paid an extra for this which gave us the illusion of getting something worthwhile only to find it was... Went here with our firms and never been before. The food is served in small portions but absolutely gorgeous. I tried food there I would never have dreamt of trying like chestnut broth and pheasant dumplings and omg they were lovely. Everything was set our superb and tasted excellent. Would definitely recommend a try. May be a little pricey but... More

Really great food, high quality presentation and taste, very friendly waiting staff, good wine list. Attentive to customer needs, one gent asked for the music to be turned down and it was immediately done. Very much looking forward to returning! :)
