Went into this lovely Indian restaurant after looking at some cracking reviews off trip adviser! The place never failed to impress. Good atmosphere, friendly service and food was cheap, even cheaper after using my groupon voucher :-) . Will defiantly will be going back. Cracking!

The Celebrity has become a bit like a trusted friend to visit every time I come to Brum. We brought our own gluten free poppadoms so we could enjoy the great sauces; the lamb tikka and paneer tikka starters were great; the lamb and chicken rogan josh tasty. With a bottle of wine, water and the happy hour menu plus... More

We were staying in the hotel across the road and wanted a decent Indian meal at a decent price. We saw their specials board and thought it was worth a try. The place was almost empty but we were early for an evening meal. The staff could not have been more attentive, but yet still left us to have a... More

We came by the place quite late on a Saturday night after Robbie Williams gig - most places in the area were closing or already closed and we were very pleased this place was open and the staff were fabulous. I was after fish dishes and they didn't disappoint me. I had a 3 course meal and all courses came... More

Seated at a lovely table with a breeze through an open window was lovely on such a warm evening. Service was with a smile and very polite. Food was amazing, presented well and packed great flavour. Easily one of the nicest curries I have ever had. Would certainly visit again next time we are in Birmingham.

Visited early Saturday evening. No problem to get a table without a reservation at 7:30pm, and this was just in time to take advantage of their early evening discount menu - 3 courses for £12.95. Service was quick & efficient, food was excellent, and portion size more than adequate. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this place while wandering in Birmingham and popped in for dinner on a Saturday night. Very tasty food, polite & attentive but not overbearing service and very good prices. We opted for a 2 course set menu which was very good value. Would definitely recommend!

I thought I did not like Indian food. I read that Birmingham was the home of the dish known as Balti. So I decided I had to try it. Celebrity was within walking distance of the Hyatt. I ordered Chicken Balti and my husband ordered chicken tandoori. Both dishes were excellent. I discovered that I like Indian food!!

I must have walked passed this restaurant hundreds of times and finally visited on a Saturday night on a Living Social deal. The building is impressive with high ceilings and round and arched windows plenty of space between the tables and a few separate rooms. The decor and light fittings could do with a little modernisation but other than that... More

We come up from Leicester quite regularly where we are lucky to have fantastic Indian food and people. So very fussy! We loved this restaurant. Traditional and friendly. Awesome decor and a great space. Madras rivals any we have had before, fab Spinach rice (who knew?). Will definitely be back and would recommend especially as it was a last minute... More
