Could do better

Three of us on a Tuesday night. A pretty quiet evening in terms of customers. Restaurant is clean and airy. A good menu and decent choice of drinks. Food came quickly. Wouldn't say portions were over generous but they were adequate. So far so good. But slow and confused response to simple bill... read more

Visited sat pm . Menu looked promising but the restaurant was upstairs so we couldn't see in . Walking up the stairs should have indicated what was to come . Decor was from the 70s and poorly maintained (graffiti in the lift) got a table straight away . Then the process began . Rushed service and bog standard processed chinese... More

This reminded me of some Chinese restaurants in provincial China. Stark interior with no sense of colour co-ordination. Sparse feel to it, especially reception and entrance area. However, most important the food which was very good and the service. Its ideal for Symphony Hall and would use again.

Go here on a regular basis when coming into Birmingham to see a concert at the nearby venues of the ICC or NIA. Situated in the bust Brindley place by the canals it can be easily missed as it is situated upstairs away from the other restaurants in the area. Food is good, and has traditional Cantonese style meals as... More

we went with friends and ordered one of the shared menus. the starters were excellent as was the middle duck course. The main courses were varied and delicious and we all enjoyed all of the dishes. Great flavours and great service.

We decided we fancied a Chinese meal & went to Tin Tin's because of where it's situated. We hadn't booked, but arrived just before 7pm on a Sunday evening & they had plenty of room. We opted for the Sunday Promotion which was very good & good value. In particular we must mention the sweet & sour pork which was... More

We called in to this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. There was one table with 4 people already in the restaurant and once we'd ordered drinks and seen the 10% compulsory service charge we wish we'd not bothered going in. The duck was dry, my daughters sweet and sour chicken was very over cooked and she spat it out.... More

Visited here as planned by work with my colleagues. We were in a side room which has a karaoke machine and is kept separate from the main restaurant. The food here is delicious, plentiful and well presented. The staff are excellent, very attentive and always there ready to fill empty glasses and replace empty plates. The bonus of the karaoke...
