Fortieth birthday party

We were invited to join the 40th birthday celebrations. We both ordered the "Peking - set B". The food was plentiful and was not saturated as one could find at other restaurants. The duck was crispy and the only restriction was how much we could all put away! Quick and friendly service with... read more

I visited here with my family when they came to visit me for a weekend. My sister-in-law is Chinese and she particularly loved this place. Although she prefers the English take on Chinese food, she was delighted to be able to go to a place that offered her authentic food from her homeland. The food was excellent, and was served... This is a great restuarant and we always eat here when we go to the NIA. The food is exceptional and the staff are unbelievably efficient. Very good value for money but one word of advice, book a table in advance as, whenever we have been, there have been long queues of people waiting.

Visited on Saturday night after a long day at the badminton. Restaurant was very busy so it was good we were booked. Service was good and staff friendly, most of our group had the set buffet which was very good. I had a veggie option of aubergine and black bean which was ok, a little heavy on oil. Need to... More

Not sure why people say they haven't had a good experience here. Maybe I am lucky. I only come once a year when the badminton is on. It's full of players from the badminton and they are ok with photos being taken. Good food and good service. Always go back every year.

I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants, in London, Manchester, Newcastle, China, USA and Hong Kong just to name a few places. During a recent visit, I ordered ‘Seafood Ho Fun (rice noodles)’. The food was awful. Bland and tasteless. The Ho Fun all stuck together. Service was mediocre. I would not use this restaurant again.

Waiters stood staring at us during our meal, the entire time and the food was barely mediocre, the restaurant was empty when we arrived at around 20.30, which says something about it. Would not recommend.

Ate on a Saturday night and although it was busy we didn't wait long for a table and service was good. Menu not very clear on which meals were vegetarian but plenty of bean curd dishes and food was really nice

6 of us had dinner here last night. 2 of us have been up all night with vomiting and diarrhoea. Upon investigation, it turns out Tin Tin has only 1 star food hygiene rating. Something that in hindsight we should have checked before eating there. I have complained to the environmental health officer. Eat here at your peril.
