Decent Chinese close to Symphony Hall

we went with friends and ordered one of the shared menus. the starters were excellent as was the middle duck course. The main courses were varied and delicious and we all enjoyed all of the dishes. Great flavours and great service.

We decided we fancied a Chinese meal & went to Tin Tin's because of where it's situated. We hadn't booked, but arrived just before 7pm on a Sunday evening & they had plenty of room. We opted for the Sunday Promotion which was very good & good value. In particular we must mention the sweet & sour pork which was... More

We called in to this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. There was one table with 4 people already in the restaurant and once we'd ordered drinks and seen the 10% compulsory service charge we wish we'd not bothered going in. The duck was dry, my daughters sweet and sour chicken was very over cooked and she spat it out.... More

Visited here as planned by work with my colleagues. We were in a side room which has a karaoke machine and is kept separate from the main restaurant. The food here is delicious, plentiful and well presented. The staff are excellent, very attentive and always there ready to fill empty glasses and replace empty plates. The bonus of the karaoke... Visited on bank holiday Monday afternoon, using the lift to access the upstairs restaurant in my wheelchair. We arrived at 2pm to an empty restaurant and we should have taken that as an indicator of what was to come. This is a large space overlooking the canal and Brindley Square. The mixed started was lukewarm and tasted like something from... More

I've been to this restaurant multiple times as I've always enjoyed the great quality food and authentic menu. Every friend / visitor that I have taken has equally enjoyed the food and ambience of the restaurant. However, on a couple of occasions the staff have been rather rude and rushed (it wasn't particularly packed, and we had booked well in... More

Went here on business trip with three colleagues. We all had the £18.50 per head Szechuan feast menu, which had a gorgeous chicken yuk sung starter in lettuce leaves, soup and main courses (crispy beef, prawn and pineapple and chicken and cashew nuts) and egg fried rice. Food was delicious. Service was excellent although maybe a little too quick at... More

We were invited to join the 40th birthday celebrations. We both ordered the "Peking - set B". The food was plentiful and was not saturated as one could find at other restaurants. The duck was crispy and the only restriction was how much we could all put away! Quick and friendly service with a wide range of drinks from their... More

I visited here with my family when they came to visit me for a weekend. My sister-in-law is Chinese and she particularly loved this place. Although she prefers the English take on Chinese food, she was delighted to be able to go to a place that offered her authentic food from her homeland. The food was excellent, and was served...
