Description: Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found...
Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found in the interesting surroundings of former 18th century cellars. However this restaurant is as far from a dingy basement bar as it is possible to be lush, sophisticated dcor brings light and space to the brick arched room, changing displays of art is displayed on the walls and theres a definite buzz to the atmosphere. With a dedication to providing great value food in a relaxed setting along with top quality service, Andersons Bar and Grill is already making its mark on the local dining scene. The food, sourced locally is of course hearty grill fayre but presented with a touch of class so even old favourites such as Barnsley chop or grilled plaice are actually rather special.

Great steaks, very good service, would recommend :)

We only had mains, and we all had steaks but they were fantastic and flavoursome. The service was very good. We were advised when we booked late the same afternoon that the table was booked for someone else at 7:30. We had no problem with this. We however didn't in any way feel rushed, and... read more

The food is very very nice. The steak is perfect and so it the rest of the food. The first time i went i had chips with my steak which was lovely. The second time i had minty potatoes and they was to minty for my liking, would definetly stick with the chips next time. The scallops for starter is... More

We visited Anderson's on a Friday evening to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. The ribeye steak was absolutely superb, quite possibly the best I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The homemade chips were excellent and the accompanying sauce (mushroom and garlic) delicious. Dessert was a chocolate orange brownie. It was fine, but rather underwhelming, especially given the quality of... More

Visited last night (24th July) for a birthday meal. Steaks are gorgeous! My sirloin on the bone was sublime and my wife's fillet on the bone equally splendid. I can highly recommend the sauces to accompany the steak, very rich and tasty. We had a mix of chips and garlic crushed new potatoes and both were very moreish! Wine list... More

Food was delicious ! All meats cooked perfectly! I had been down early in the day to see which table I was sat at after requesting a secluded one on the online booking form. I told the staff I was proposing to my girlfriend, and requested drinks on arrival (cocktails that weren't on the menu) . When we got there... More

As my boyfriend was due to finish university in Birmingham, we decided to try our favourite restaurant again. We missed out on starters this time around, as was not too fussed on them before. I opted for the surf and turf steak with king prawns and monkfish wrapped in bacon - superb mixture of flavours! Was truly delicious. The main... More

I had the most lovely meal with my partner last night at Anderson's. We are complete foodies and after asking around for a nice place for Steak for our date night, Anderson's was the top of all our friend's list. I had the scallops to start which were divine, and my partner had the belly of pork which he said... More

The Back to Front is by far the best steak dinner I have had in Birmingham. If you like steak you must have it. There are also some delicious cocktails too, I had a lovely watermelon coctail and the sugar snap pea cocktail was one of the nicest summer cocktials I've had. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.... More
