Excellent

Went to andersons and was greeted with a friendly reception and was seated instantly, the food was incredible and the range of wines was appealing. Staff where very busy but they still made time to connect with customers! Definitely going back

Would have loved to dine here but with the lack of response to book a table via phone and the lack of wheelchair accessibility is really poor! Being offered to be carried upstairs is not what I consider accessible nor in accordance with the law.

Our party of 10 ate here 9th April. The service was pretty slow. After 1 hour we had just finished the starter. Steaks were first class. Be careful to check your bill. Our bill had 2 starters charged per head rather than the one we had actually eaten adding over £100 to our bill !!! The staff apologised when the bill... More

I've eaten in all the good restaurants in Brum, including the Michelins. The second best is Andersons. And on occasions it has been the best. The steak is out of this world (the best is the 30oz rump in the bone). Sides and puds good too, but it's all about the beef here. They also have an amazing selection of... More

I booked this restaurant for my boyfriends birthday on the 9th April 2015 as he said he wanted a nice steak. The restaurant it itself is set in an old cellar and was charming, ideal for that special occasion. The food was delicious he ordered a steak of course and I had the salmon. He said it was one of... My husband and I came here for a meal on Friday night. The entrance way doesn't really do justice to the gorgeous restaurant downstairs. The cheap grey carpet isn't very nice and it's difficult to tell from upstairs whether you're really in the right place. But once you get downstairs the decor is very nice, stylish and subtle. The tables... More

Dinner on a busy Friday evening. We were warmly greeted and looked after during our meal by lovely, friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent and perfectly prepared and presented. Particularly liked the monkfish wrapped in pancetta that accompanied the surf and turf. Our first visit to Anderson's and not our last.

Had an excellent meal at Andersons, location is good between 2 train stations and close to financial district, plenty of bars nearby, we were shown straight to table, menu is good as is wine list (shame website isn't up todate,) as I had chosen food to suit wine in advance, meat is good but star of show was the flavoursome... On visiting Birmingham for the first time, I relied on Tripadvisor to point us in the direction of a good steak restaurant. Anderson's generally seems to get good reviews so we thought we would try it out, even though it was 20 mins walk from our hotel, past lots of other restaurants. The grubby carpet on the stairs down to... More

Wow loved it here! Loved the atmosphere - was good for a Thursday night and the decor. We dined as a table of four and we all loved our meals. Had chicken liver brûlée to start which was gorgeous followed by the surf and turf! Fantastic! Even the olives which we had before our starters were so flavoursome! We all... More
