Visited Andersons last night for the first time and it won't be the last. Loved everything about it; the food is gorgeous, the decor rustic but for me the jewel in the crown must be the service. The lady that served our table was a delight and had timing just right. Food wise we had scallops and devilled kidney to... More

My husband and I regularly visit Birmingham and for our Saturday evening restaurant we thought this time we would try Andersons. First impressions, we were warmly greeted at the bar with a big smile and a friendly face. We ordered our drinks and sat in the bar while we looked at the menu. We were then shown to our table.... I visited Anderson's recently for a two course meal and would highly recommend the food, drink and location. Location The restaurant is located just off St Paul's Square and is situated underground. The bar area is tastefully decorated and staff were very polite. Food I tried the fillet steak which was one of the best I have ever tried. The... More

Anderson's is the type of place you could easily walk past without noticing, which adds to its charm. The restaurant it's self can feel a bit underwhelming when you walk in - it's a basement location and quite basic in terms of furniture and decor, but don't let that put you off. The food is absolutely beautiful - really tasty... More

Not the most glamorous location in a basement just off St Paul's Square with stairs down to it that really need a refurb. The restaurant itself is however quite intimate and suitable for a romantic meal. The steaks are excellent - really good quality meat cooked well with classic steak accompaniments like chips and onion rings also done really well.... More

Came here om a Saturday as part of my birthday celebrations and was presently surprised. Was seated straight away and informed of the specials. The food was amazing, I had the cheese for starters which was nice although I didn't like the olives! The main.I had fillet steak...wow it was cooked to perfection.. I wanted more! My dessert I had... More

First visit to this restaurant to celebrate a graduation ceremony – my wife had wanted to come since last October and was looking forward to it. We started with cocktails and some rustic bread and olives. Not enough bread for five, so ordered another portion which had more bread than the original order – the first of many inconsistencies. Have... More
