My friend and I visited Andersons at the weekend. We are both on a very strict diet that is extremely limited in the choice of items that can be eaten. We explained this to a very friendly and attentive waitress who listened to our request and disappeared to the kitchen. She returned back with a few off-menu suggestions from Dan... More

Not only best steaks outside of New York, but gorgeous seafood, fish and other dishes. We had the porterhouse which was exceptional and really good value, plus yummy sides and sauces. Really imaginative menu, top quality food combined with excellent service (staff couldn't do enough for us and so attentive). Wine was delicious and went well with the steak, a... More

the steaks were very good. my rare breed dexter sirloin was perfectly cooked medium rare and so tasty and tender. service however was a little erratic , we had several different waiters through the evening. we waited an hour between starter and main course. to be fair the waiter compensated for this by giving us a bottle of complimentary wine

Service was perfect. Very prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff. Catered for all ages. Lovely pale ale. Hospitable atmosphere. Clean facilities. The only let-down was the food considering the relatively high cost. Small main portions (surf and turf in particular) and insubstantial side dishes. The quality was fine.

My husband & I had a wonderful meal at Andersons on Friday night. The food was wonderful. Great value for money. The service was excellent. The chocolate pudding was one of the best I've have ever eaten. Planning our next meal already!

Went here for food as part of a birthday weekend away. Service was fast, and the decor was lovely. The food itself was amazing! We went to town and had bread, starters, mains and dessert. The staff were knowledgeable giving good advice about the different cuts of steak, flavour and texture etc which was nice. Our steaks were both perfectly... More

If you love your steaks try this restaurant just off St Paul's Square in the Jewellery Quarter. We have recommended it to all our friends and they love it too!

I was surprised to find that the restaurant was in the basement but it didn't spoil the very good ambience. The service was excellent as was the food. We had the hangar steak , scallops and a special mention for the Eton Mess which is the best I've ever had. Too expensive for regular use but for a special night... More
