Something different to try, and well worth it. The whole overall experience was very enjoyable, with excellently cooked food and very cheerful service. We went on the Saturday Evening Dinner Cruise, so saw the canal network both in daylight and in the dark - they switch on the exterior floodlights. Highly recommended - and we do like good food. Beautiful food, in particular the crumble, delicious! Great time, nice scenery, really friendley staff, Jill the owner made it very peasant and paid particular attention to our 1 year old making it a really enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend it!

We booked a weekday evening dinner cruise, and were very impressed. The quality of the food was excellent, especially considering the tiny barge kitchen the chef was working from! As a vegetarian I felt well catered for by the menu option available, and their sticky toffee pudding in particular was delicious. Seeing Birmingham by canal is really interesting, and you're... I booked for my mom and her partner to have a meal on the cruise for her 60th birthday as before me and my wife had a romantic experience at valentines. 1 day before the cruise and the owner rang to say that the cruise had been cancelled because there were not enough people to make the cruise pay so... We hired the whole boat for a celebration lunch, after having tried the cruise out some time previously. The whole experience was truly excellent. The organization was made very easy and were able to get anything that we wanted to make our experience the best it could be. The boat holds twenty four, and does not feel cramped when it... More

A few reviews have been quite harsh so I didn't know what to expect. Beautiful sunny day, canal smooth. Industrial architecture old and interesting -maybe a bit of commentary would be added value. I found all the staff were friendly and efficient. One of our party couldn't decide on which dessert to have and was given a taster of the... More

We were given this experience as a gift from our son. Parking is available nearby in a multi-storey carpark about 100 yds from the waterside. The carpark was a little expensive just short of £10 for the time we were there, but you can pay by credit card which made things easier. Jill (owner) was a very pleasant host from... More
