Went as a group of 10 and sat in tables of 2. Conversion and wine flowed and the staff were very friendly. The food was lovely and we felt very reasonably priced. The only shame was at this time of year we couldn't see much outside as it was dark. We all said we would come back again in the... More

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with Sunday lunch a boat trip. The food is cooked freshly on the boat and is of a good quality as is the house wine that I sampled. Boat holds around 26 people so you have to book as it is very popular. All 3 courses were of very good quality especially considering what must... More

We received a warm welcome on this evening trip from the staff and drinks were served promptly though odd not to get ice and lemon with gin and tonic!. Food was well presented, good portion sizes and nicely cooked.Cheese course was a bit mean with very slim slices of cheese served but perhaps they thought we were all full.A commentary... More

We enjoyed a five course meal, a party of four, on a Thursday evening. The tables were laid beautifully and staff well presented. The food was amazing, served at the correct temperature and was delicious, my only nit pick, a bit more on the cheese and cracker board when sharing between two. Excellent wine selection, with tap water and soft... More

We had this as a gift experience and didn't look up previous reviews, however, having now read the first few we can only agree-ish. Main areas to improve are the lack of info on where you are passing, there must be some interesting history to this ancient area and also the lack of personality of the staff. Food average in... I was really looking forward to this experience- whiling away a lovely evening enoying a 5 course meal on the canals of Birmingham. I was however disappointed. The food was, for the most part, really nicely cooked and presented and i enjoyed it (along with a bottle or 2 of wine- also went down a treat.) However, there were some... More

Myself and a group of friends visited Birmingham to celebrate a friend's special birthday. I was looking forward to being looked after with a bit of luxury as had been advertised. Unfortunately the idea of not being able to to enough to help ones customers hadn't quite hit this company. We had agreed to decorate the boat for the special... More

Dined here on a Saturday night in July - I was really looking forward to it. I had to phone for some information beforehand and the lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely unhelpful and spoke to me like I was a problem! I found the attitude of the skipper quite rude and abrupt, everything seemed to be... More
