Booked the VIP experience with Phantom tickets and was pleasantly surprised by The Circle Restaurant and like so many other reviewers wondered why I hadn't been here before! The VIP experience was basically a glass of champagne, a programme per couple and a 3 course meal. Good to have the option of having either coffee or desert in the interval.... More

Just returned from a lovely at the theatre. Decided to book the theatre restaurant as we knew we wouldn't have much time. Delicious meal - very good quality although some may find portions on the small side. Fantastic service and very fast and efficient without being made to feel rushed. Took my wife there for her **th birthday before seeing Phantom of the Opera. Beautiful food and certainly not basic. Portions are not terrific but the taste is great. Good to go here when going to see the show as service is quick and they have to have the meal finished before the show starts. Not cheap but somewhere special... More

I booked a table on chance when we were visitng the theatre to see a performance of Phantom and I was well and truely impressed. The food was fine dining at its best, the service was excellant and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be doing this again when we get the opportunity. Could do with more ladies toilets... We went to see Phantom of the opera at the Birmingham Hippodrome it was amazing. Better than London! The food at this restaurant was simply fabulous and the service was first class. A great choice of wine and beautiful surroundings. A great place to enjoy a lovely meal before the show.

Very convenient for pre theatre dining, friendly and efficient staff. Our starters were disappointing - a pretty plate of very little! We love the Hippodrome and have been many times, but never used the Circle as I thought - wrongly - that it might be a bit ordinary.
