Very popular balti, great value for tasty food

Fortunately booked a table via their website, it was heaving when we arrived our table was the only table available at 7.39pm on a sat night. Staff are friendly and attentive, water and glasses arrived immediately along with the corkscrew to open the wine, most balti's are being your own. The menu... read more

Two visits during our 3 night stay for 2015 Ashes cricket. My son and I had different chicken and lamb balti dishes on each occasion - everything was simply delicious as well spiced and enriched by proper balti cooking methods. Great table naan and keema rice to accompany while the service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

It was OK but I'm not sure why it has all the hype and the highest rating in Birmingham. (If you're using satnav it's nowhere near it's postcode) The naan was good, the biriani and the baltis were good but not sure "exquisite" as a number of fellow reviewers have claimed. The waiter mixed up two dishes between two guests.... More

I went on TA looking for an alternative to the usual Balti houses and Shababs popped up so my partner and i went.First was the usual poppadom with an uninspirational sauce .Then we had onion ring bhaji which was bursting with flavour followed by Garlic chilli chicken which took me back to my youth 35yrs ago the dish was condensed... Pre booked a table for 12 family members on a busy Friday evening. The atmosphere was buzzing, the service and food were excellent. Age range in our family group were from16 to 75. Everybody loved it! Traditional balti at its very best.

Came here early evening on a Saturday. It was a bit quiet but I think this was due to it being Ramadan. The restaurant was really clean and well decorated with friendly staff. As it doesn't serve alcohol you can bring your own and the staff happily provided us with glasses and ice. The menu is simple but with lots... More

We headed towards shababs at around 1am, the place seemed empty which was fairly usual as it is usually a busy place for people to head to after the pubs close. We ordered food and got what we ordered althougb the food i had... More
