I'm a keen dinner and have visited numerous restaurants from the country gastro pub to Michelin star. I have now decided to start to write reviews on restaurants mainly in and around the Midlands as that's where I'm based and live. I first visited Bohemia on a recommendation. At a glance I wasn't really bowled over by the area, as... More

Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food, three of us had steak all cooked perfectly, the other had braised beef which was also excellent. The duck/scallops starter was also of high quality and well presented. Will return.

Well priced menu option and attentive and friendly staff in a compact and relaxed setting. The food was good but nothing more. I think that we would be willing to try this place again with a slightly different menu as it changes every month and although we weren't convinced on this occasion I reckon some of the meals are probably... Happened upon this restaurant via Top Table and was surprised when I was able to book for a weekend just a few days in advance. We went on a Saturday and with the quality of the food and the service it was surprising that the restaurant wasn't more busy. It certainly deserves to be. Food and service were both great... More

this place is my favorite for special occasions, Mrs W and I went for valentines, we both had beef carpaccio and pork fillet with other courses slotted in, really good cote du rhone that the waiter told me was from connollys wines (well worth the price) - can't wait until next time :)

This restaurant is difficult to find but very worth the trouble . You can Park behind the restaurant in a large carpark. Only a few yards to the restaurant even on a windy night. The restaurant was relatively empty but warm and the staff are very friendly. The starters were terrific. I had scallops and black pudding, skate for main... More

This was our first visit to this resaturant/bistro and we will definitely go again. There is a small but varied menu and an evening choice of set price for 2 or 3 courses and a good wine list. I ordered ham & pheasant terrine as a starter, which was made with large chunks of meat and served with salad leaves... More

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times in the last year or so and have always been impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Birmingham.

My wife and I have been on a number of occasions. This time there was live music and it only added to the usual lovely atmosphere. The food is always good and the service attentive but discreet. I would heartily recommend Bohemia.

Visited Bohemia on a Wednesday and made the most of their £23 deal which includes 3 courses and a glass of wine. Food was spectacular and unbelievable value. Wine was sensibly priced and for £15 got a decent bottle of Chilean Sauvignon. Service was attentive and did not feel like I was being rushed through. Would recommend to everyone. The... More
