I would like to say it was above average but the service let it down for our visit, so I could not go as far as saying it was very good. Be warned they do not serve cocktails and it seemed to be a hindrance when we asked the waiter to prepare a Black Russian (which is simply Kahlua &... More

I visited this restaurant with my family and booked the ten course taster menu. Admittedly, one of the courses was not to my personal taste, but the others appeared to be pleasant. The portions were small and goats cheese featured regulary throughout the menu. One of the courses, a bowl of goats cheese with a herb granata was served. Whilst... More

FOOD: 9/10. Interesting and exciting dishes that are packed full of unusual taste combinations. STAFF: 8/10. Very friendly and welcoming staff, some more knowledgable than others about the food but overall the service (and service charge) was as expected from a restaurant of this caliber. EXPERIENCE: 8/10. Interior is small, smart and sophisticated which makes the experience only more unique.... More

The food was great, but the service was not good as we got there at 8pm and at 12pm had still not had all the courses to be told we would have to miss the rest, we had to keep asking for more drinks the wine we had they had no more left , not a good night and would... More

We dined here with a Travelzoo voucher for the 10 course tasting menu. The food, service and wine were all superb. Overall a perfect evening. The 10 course tasting menu was served over a very relaxed 3 hours. Of the 10 courses, jersey royal was the best, wonderful flavours from such a simple dish. It also provided a nice contrast... More

This is a really difficult one as I am a genuinely honest reviewer on here and as there are more positive than negative reviews shows that this is just a personal viewpoint and really not for us. The ten course taster menu was a joint Birthday gift to myself and my Husband from Family. We both love eating out and... More

Service brilliant . Setting and ambience good . Sadly the Taster menu ..... Over complicated . Have eaten here on previous occasions and really enjoyed the food so maybe this current taster menu is just a blip .

This place is not what we expected. It has to be the smallest Michelin starred restaurant in the UK. This however is not a disadvantage - quite the opposite. It is very intimate without giving you feeling that you are on top of each other and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Unlike some restaurants there was no pretentiousness... More

My Son and Daughter in law bought us a meal at this Restaurant for my 60th birthday. 1st impression was what... the restaurant is set in a shopping parade and is just a converted modern retail unit and looks nothing from the outside. Once you pass through the doors that all changes, the decor is opulant, the staff profesional and... More
