Good hot pot !

Very busy Chinese hot pot restaurant FULL of Chinese people enjoying a decent, value meal. Can be confusing for strangers but I was helped by my hosts on what was a most enjoyable experience Would go again!!!

of the worst meal ever! Yes, we came, we saw, we very nearly (well, not yet anyway) threw up! Totally appalling, grubby little place. Having visited a show at The Old Rep, we decided to pop next door to one of the Chinese restaurants in the same street. First, we checked out Tripadvisor and all seemed good. To cut a... More

Great authentic Chinese restaurant right on the centre of the city but not overcrowded or commercial. We stopped by on the way to the Electric Cinema. Very friendly staff and the hot pot is really worth a try. Add your own ingredients to a sauce base at your table to create a stew to your taste. We will definitely be... More

We stopped here after our visit to the Christmas Market last Saturday (21st Nov) we did not want to eat at the usual places hanging around Stations, so went off track a bit and found this wonderful little Chinese restaurant though we went quite early in the evening the service was just great and the food was as you would... Found this place by luck and didn't regret it. We didn't go for the hot pot but the dishes off the menu were excellent. We enjoyed shredded pork, spicy fish and a noodle dish. All very edible and not overly spicy. Only problem was we couldn't eat it all!

We had a meal here after looking for somewhere near to the New Alexandra for our night out. The restaurant looked OK, had people in so we tried our luck. I now wish we hadn't. The food, to be fair was OK. The main problem was that the chicken dishes were on the bone. On the bone but chopped into... More

Let me put it this way - there are dishes from north eastern China that I've not found in restaurants in London or Sydney in the last 19 years. I found them here! Great, proper regional Chinese food. Even my initially slightly nervous work colleagues were won over, declaring their meal the best Chinese they'd ever had. Thank you for... More

After lots of disappointing searches for chinese in the city centre, I found this hidden gem. Great authentic food, good service and reasonable price. I woudnt ask for more. I hope they maintain the standards and provide more special dishes.

Just over the road from John Lewis we went for dinner on a Friday night. The place was really quiet but we were looked after very well. The food came quickly and was delicious. You must try the special aubergine with garlic which was the best thing I've eaten for a long time. This place seems very authentic as per... More

Seemed like a family run restaurant which isn't a problem but we wasn't made to feel welcome. As we don't speak Chinese the menu was a bit confusing and the waitress didn't bother trying to explain what things were, just pointed to pictures. So we ended up just ordering what we thought looked nice.Quite pricey, wouldn't go again just because of the ignorance... More
