We have visited twice this month, both times we were celebrating and both times we agreed that the food here made our celebrations very special!! From the opening, with really good bread, through amuse, starter, main, pre-dessert and dessert we couldn't fault the food, the wine or the service!! The fish was cooked to perfection, we tried all of them... More

I manage to get to Birmingham every three months and always head for Edmunds . . which is one of the best dining experiences in the UK in my humble opinion. And l have reviewed over eighty others because l work in a different city every week. You can eat early...before 1830 during the week and get a first class... More

Visited with my best friend on a weekend away - Saturday night. Was busy enough but not crowded which was perfect. £45 for a 3 course a la carte menu. Both had seafood starter then my friend the lamb and I the duck. All cooked to perfection and deceptively filling given the fine dining sized portions - lovely bread and... More

Is says fine dining above the door and they certainly aren't lying. We went for a six course taster menu - the 'tour de france' and some wine. All of the courses were excellent, each course was explained by the waiter. The service was excellent, staff were very attentive topping up wine and water without being intrusive at all. Timing... Really enjoyed the food here and overall good value for money for the quality you receive. The reason I have slightly marked down to very good and not excellent was the atmospheric were just not quite to my taste slightly too quiet. But definitely worth the visit for the food.

We've been a few times now both lunch & dinner. The location is excellent for Symohony Hall and ICC. Recently took advantage of the 'French Kiss' promotion where there's a 50% reduction on food. The service is excellent, a young french waiter was in training when we were there and it was wonderful to see the excellent standard of the... More

We have previously had the set lunch menu at Edmunds, which is good value at around £20.00 for 3 courses. On this occasion we used a Travelzoo voucher for a 2 for 1 offer on their a la carte menu, normally priced at £45.00 for 3 courses. They may not have a Michelin star but the food and presentation is... More

Had a celebratory dinner here with my parents last weekend and the whole experience was just outstanding. Very warm welcome at the door and we were quickly seated. Fresh warm artisan breads were delicious and the amuse bouche - soup with truffle oil - was divine. The caramelised scallops were cooked to perfection (dressing was superb) as was the fillet... More

Service and food excellent, expensive but well worth it. First time we went we had a bad experience but the way they made up for it was brilliant so we have tried again on a couple of occasions and had a really good time each time. Anyone can have an off day but its how they put it right that... More
