The food tasted ok but 2 scallops do not make a starter! Tiny portions of lamb and a small cheese board was insufficient to stop us feeling hungry when we left. Poor value for £45.00

Well overall my experience was good, the food was pretty delicious, prosecco nice and bubbly, intimate setting in a small dining room and the waiter was very attentive. However, it's not a 5/5 for me because I didn't think much to the wine by the glass listing and customer service on arrival in my opinion wasn't good enough for a... More

Went here for lunch and it was beautiful food. The only reason why I haven't given it 5/5 is because I felt the dining area lacked atmosphere. But as this was only lunch it may be different during the later services.

We ate in the restaurant on Saturday 11th May and really enjoyed the experience. We chose the tasting menu with matched wines. Both The quality and presentation of the dishes were excellent. With wines astutely chosen to complement the food. The only slightly disappointing aspect was a lack of communication from some of the serving staff e.g. what the cheeses... More

Went here for my birthday and had the tasting menu. It was as to be expected; a collection of small but tasty morsels, all very enjoyable and some extremely inventive, taking my taste buds from one end of the spectrum to the next. The atmosphere was quiet but romantic - very much a fine dining atmosphere. The staff were helpful... More

I really struggled to rate this place as either 'poor' or 'average' I settled on average as the steak I had was cooked to perfection but everything else was pretty poor if I am honest. Me and my partner booked here for a Saturday evening in April 2013. On arrival the greeting received was rather poor, your coats were taken... More

Went to Edmunds for lunch. The food was absolutely stunning given the price. However, the service at lunchtime leaves much to be desired. Simple procedures you would expect from service at a restaurant of this calibre were missing, however, when we contacted the restaurant detailing some of ours concerns, they were very obliging and keen to make amends. I really... More

...The amuse-bouche certainly didn't amuse my bouche; I felt like I had to gobble it down like a bad tasting medicine to avoid offense, in fact we all did! The crab starter was okay, however the main courses failed to impress being presented in minuscule portions as if they had already been served. I had gone here for my birthday,... More

A very good atmosphere with some excellent food and wines Hard to fault anything the staff where first class and keep our glass charged at all time the food was cooked to perfection the only draw back was that the cheese board was very small so do not order one thinking you can share it with some one as three... Good quality food and great atmosphere. Linked to Cielo - so got to be good. Chefs have a knack of making the perfect menu. Décor is subdued and very classy. But most of all food superb
