Pre-theatre dinner on Saturday.

We had an early dinner (5.30 pm) dinner before going to a concert. The food and service were excellent and made great use of seasonal ingredients - asparagus featured heavily on the menu both as an accompaniment and a main ingredient. The veloutes and purees that sat with the main ingredients were... read more

We went this afternoon on an Amazon local deal and we had an excellent meal Staff were very friendly and attentive and the resturant not to big to be daunting The menu gave you a choice of 5 items per course which catered for most tastes The courses were well presented, not large portions but big enough with all the... This place is all about perfected flavours. You can tell how lovingly prepared each meal is with meats cooked to perfection to the extent that when my partner compared her medium-rare venison to my rare fillet steak, you could see the distinctive amount of cooking between them. And the taste was exquisite with every mouthful. Nothing over or under done,... More

Firstly the positives: Service is very good particularly as the server was very professional although the Maitre'd was too busy chatting with some customers. Secondly the location is excellent in the heart of Brindleyplace. The food is average at best. I ordered a fish dish (can't remember the name) which has way too much of butter to make it crisp.... The food was exquisitely cooked and beautifully presented. We've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants and this compared well. The downside was the service and the cost. Overall the cost was in excess of £200 for a couple, which granted included a glass of champagne, but is still too expensive for a lunchtime weekday meal. Maze in London cost about... More

We visited on a bit of a whim as we fancied a meal out. Edmunds had excellent reviews and a free table, so we thought we'd give it a go and were not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We opted for the tasting menu, which was beautiful. Every course was beautiful; excellent flavours... More

The food was amazing, the staff very attentive and informative of the food we received. The chef came out to speak to us and check we enjoyed our meal and advised us on where the produce came from. Lastly thank you for the lovely surprise of treats with "Happy Birthday" on a plate. We will be back. Elaine & Pete

Booked for a birthday treat for my husband and were surprised they seemed unaware of our booking, however, were shown to a table practically at the front door, despite only one other couple present. Service was attentive & unobtrusive and quality of food was excellent though portions "bijoux". Spoiled by noting the only other diner ordering a steak rejected it... More

The food was exquisite the ambience and service excellent. Everything about our meal was wonderful. Each course was delivered with a smile by our waiters they could not have been more friendly and helpful with plenty of time between courses. Each course was described and sometimes a little history about where the dish originated. Can't recommend it highly enough.
