After reading all the reviews we can't believe we went to the same restaurant. There was that much that was disappointing it's a job to know where to start. The food was nothing special at all. Although tasting ok the starter was the smallest serving of food I have ever seen. The fillet of beef was also small and not... More

My wife and I visited this Birmingham city centre restaurant in early October after a morning wandering round the shopping centre, much changed since our childhood days. It is sited in modern Brindley Place and close to the Birmingham Canal where you can walk along the towpath if you need to work up an appetite. We enjoyed the warm welcome... More

As out of towners, we had not heard of Edmunds, but because a planned visit to Birmingham coincided with a Travelzoo offer, we decided to give it a try. What a brilliant decision! The restaurant is about three minutes walk from the Q Park car park at Brindley Place. The exterior of the restaurant is unassuming, but elegant in amongst... More

We went on Saturday night and, yet again, were stunned by the food and the service at Edmunds. The bread and amuse bouche were wonderful, always a treat here. Then we had the scallops and crab, and beetroot and goat's cheese starters, both sublime, although it was hard to choose because it all sounded so good! For our mains we... More

We were here a few weeks ago for our 3 year anniversary and had such a lovely night. This is the best food we've had since Didier cooked at The Crown a few years ago. Wonderful service, amazing food! We can't wait to come back again soon. Couldn't recommend Edmunds highly enough. Niki and Mike

I purchased a voucher via Travelzoo for lunch at Edmunds which was our main reason for choosing the restaurant. We didn't know what to expect but saw (via Tripadvisor) that other diners had favoured the food. The restaurant in Brindley Place is small but nicely decorated with a good atmosphere. We were greeted by the friendly waiter and made to... More

We booked Edmunds to celebrate our engagement and were not disappointed. A mistake over the booking meant a surprise was let out of the bag but when we arrive at the restaurant the staff couldn't do enough to make our night perfect. Any mistake faded into insignificance. The food was sublime. A special valentines day menu was provided and well... More

A meal at Edmunds is always a delight whether lunch or dinner. There are many interesting choices and unusual combinations of flavours. Vegetarians well and imaginatively catered for.he lunches are excellent value and the dinners reasonably priced. An elegant and restrained setting. As my partner has just said - you can't fault them. Enjoy!
