The food was exquisite the ambience and service excellent. Everything about our meal was wonderful. Each course was delivered with a smile by our waiters they could not have been more friendly and helpful with plenty of time between courses. Each course was described and sometimes a little history about where the dish originated. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A good dining experience, made excellent by the focus given to us and the attention to detail by our waiter (Jeff). Between him and his colleague, the recommendations for wine to accompany the meal rounded off the dinner well. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wheelchair accessible restaurant so just that in it's self is a great start! We only stayed for mains and dessert! Portions aren't massive but it's all about quality not quantity! I had the duck which was soo tasty and I highly recommend! The dish it's self looked liked a piece of art work, looked fantastic! I had the chocolate and... More

Friday evening 7.45 and only 1 other table. Felt very uncomfortable as there was no-one else near us, atmosphere was cold & we felt rushed. Food was really tasty, perfectly cooked, but tiny portions. I mean TINY! Pate was no bigger than a 50p coin & just 3 bread crisps. 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 drinks cost £135! I... More

I visited here for a ladies lunch in February with three friends. As expected for a formal French restaurant the service and the food were both top class. The restaurant is small and the food is nouvelle cuisine, portions are small but flavours are very intense. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and informed us in detail of what we would... More

Ate off the Al a Carte menu and had great choices. Tasty and well prepared salmon starter followed by Venison main, washed down with a lovely glass of red wine. Staff are friendly and look after you, providing good knowledge of the food & wine. Would definitely recommend, although it's not cheap, its good value. After all Venison is a... More

Four of us visited here and had the taste menu. Fish courses was the best. Had venison for the main course, which I would not normally have chosen, but enjoyed it. The main dessert was a bit too rich, a chocolate mousse which was hot, with brownie, and ice cream. Nice small restaurant, very attentive staff. Excellent service.

Excellent service, very formal restaurant with sliver service. Small, very quiet restaurant. Wonderfully presented food and flavours but small portions. Reasonable value for money considered it is Michelin star.

Surrounded by the unfortunate party going low life that infests British city centres Edmunds offers an incongruous oasis of calm and fine dining. Every course is cooked to perfection and presented as a work of art. The service is efficient and unobtrusive and it is worth hanging around at the end of the evening to meet the chef while he... We went here the other night after not going for a while, no reason that we had not been, we have been trying elsewhere. The food as normal was first rate along with the service. Our only criticism was the heating, the restaurant was on the cool side and could have done with being a tad warmer as at times... More
