We went for a special occasion. The food was excellent - we both had the Tasting Menu and had a voucher which saved us a staggering £75. Service was excellent. Obviously expensive but it was worth it. They catered for gluten-free with no problems but like advance notice. We will certainly be back. The dessert even came with Happy Birthday... More

This was our first time visiting Edmunds and we weren't disappointed! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The scallops to start were perfectly cooked and had a beautifully delicate flavour and the beef fillet was one of the best I have had. My partner also very much enjoyed the lamb main he had ordered. We were treated to... More

We joined a group of friends for a midweek 'French Kiss ' offer of half price food. This represents great value. Beautifully cooked food, good service. Only had one bottle of the wine we ordered, only a minor niggle. Great evening of food and wine.

I booked a table just about an hour before, when we arrived we got a lovely table. Even thought we some dietary requirements, these were observed without a problem. We had scallops and razor clams for starters, the taste was very delicate. Then lamb and duck followed as main dish, both perfectly cooked and very savoury. The soufflé in the... More

We just had our anniversary and booked here at the last minute, after reading the rave reviews. Edmunds did not disappoint. The only restaurant I've eaten at that could compare is Simpsons. The service was friendly and obviously enthusiastic about the food. We ordered a similar menu to SDA44 (review below) and had the same divine experience with the duck... More

Six of us went for dinner, and selected the surprise tasting menu, with flight of wine for only five. The party had one with a seafood allergy and one requiring Gluten free. The staff were fully aware of this on our arrival, and provided excellent service, making sure with every course that things were explained, and alternatives provided. The service... More

This was our second visit to Edmunds, taking advantage of a 50% off food offer that was emailed to us. We had a couple of Gins to start and we were brought an amuse bouche of what I would describe as a mushroom cappucino. This was very nice, foamy and had a tiny mushroom on top. We ordered the dodine... More

The 8 course tasting menu was delicious! I enjoyed not knowing what I was going to get until it came and was explained and I ended up trying food I never would have ordered and really enjoying it - the flavours of each dish worked so well together and everything was cooked to perfection! The service was excellent and it... More

The decor and ambiance in this restaurant were very pleasing. We had a window table and were able to watch the world going by in Brindley Place. So convenient for many of Birmingham's attractions. We used a Travelzoo voucher for a three course lunch from the a la carte menu. We all had the scallops starter which was absolutely delicious... More

What a sublime meal. Great mixture of flavours and taste buds a tingling. Vichyssoise amuse bouche, followed by duck liver starter and ham hock, the latter being served as my wife did not fancy any of the starters on the a la carte, which was most accommodating. Main course of beef fillet and Barbary duck breast both cooked to perfection.... More
