We visited here after a couple of recommendations. It's a very traditional rustic place with a family run unit. We were ushered into the very corner by the door but we declined and asked to be seated somewhere else. The flatbreads are lovely and we had the feta and walnuts to start. We had lamb and chicken kebabs. The lamb... More

This little gem has been consistently a firm choice of mine when it comes to deciding where to dine out in Birmingham over the last decade as I know I'll get the excellent quality of food, affordable menu and warm friendly welcome from the staff. I usually order from the grilled menu as my main course as they do the... More

This place is a gem. It's not bargain basement prices but it's totally authentic. Starters are wide ranging and tasty especially the mezzo type options. I do think its a shame that they charge separately for flatbreads though. house salad was delicious also. You will find so much herbs used in the dishes which can look overpowering on the plate... The best food ever! Service was good and the food was on point. Absolutely delicious! Place was cramped but service was good. I had sea bass and boneless lamb it was lovely. Freshly made – perfect!

Booked a table in advance and we were completely let down. Arrived on time and they left us in a tiny entrance way, being shoved and pushed by the waitress and the other customers arriving after us and being seated before us. What a waste of time and effort. Dont bother, unless you're mates with the owner!

Turned up on time for a booked table and was left standing in the cramped entrance. Pushed passed by the rude waiting staff and left in the draft of the door. 20 minutes later a couple turn up and are seated immediately. Walked out after being left standing and hungry!!!

Booked a table... left to wait in a small coridoor area for 10 minutes with waitressess pushing last. Then a different group arrived saying they had not booked but wanted to eat.... they were offered a table and a free drink... having a giggle. Very frustrating.... we left for the Balti Triangle.

I booked a table for Friday evening. When we arrived, the five of us were standing in the doorway for fifteen minutes without being seated. Three people then entered the restaurant after us and were sat in the waiting area next door and were given drinks. We did not stay.

My husband and I visited Shiraz for the first time recently and had a wonderful Persian experience. Great food, service, decor and atmosphere. I would highly recommend the mixed grill - lovely flavours, cooked to perfection and very authentic.
