Buffet with large coke was £12.99 per person. We visited evening pre show as this is close to Hipprodrome Theatre. No booking required. It is very basic as previous reviews describe it reminds you a bit of school canteen, but very clean tables & staff quick to keep tables neat & clean. There is choice of buffet style food &... More

We were staying in Birmingham for the weekend and decided to go to Chinatown. Didn't know where to go to eat so followed nose and other people to decide where to go. Situated up a side street we just happened to glance and saw what we thought was entrance to multi storey carpark but clearly saw Chinese buffet. We had... More

Visited today. 3 adults, 1 child with drinks £29 for lunch buffet. Food was ok. Starters nice. Was all hot. Pudding choice was better. Staff always cleaning and refill food area. Restaurant basic, bit like a canteen. Staff kept place tidy unlike other buffets we've been too. Toilets dirty though.

If you didn't know it was there you would never find it. Its at the top end of a side street in the Chinese restaurant area of Birmingham. As you walk in it does not look like much. I took it to be a converted boiler room or something like that. No fancy decorations around the walls, and the tables... More

Wonderful Chinese buffet. So much to choose from. All of it is excellent. The waiting staff were helpful and pleasant. I cannot fault the food at all. The payment system of going to the till and then showing your receipt before you leave the restaurant is a bit odd, but one of the waiters explained that too many people try... More

I went in with a friend never having been in the area before. We were encouraged to take a look and given a personalised tour around the food counters and dishes. We were shown the stir fry section and given lots of choices re flavours. The welcome we received persuaded us to stay and eat. What a feast we had,... More

A standard low value Chinese Resturant but I say that with true appreciation. I love a greasy spoon too! Only eat here if you are happy with casual eating and loud noise!

If you are looking for a cheap Chinese meal the Big wok will not disappoint but all the dishes I tried could have been prepared better. There certainly is a massive selection but the decor is very poor and coupled with the cheapest of cutlery and plates does lend to a canteen style image. Can get very busy at peak... More

Went for lunch before a show. Good choice for a lunch, food hot and fresh. Surroundings a bit like a canteen but clean. Overall good value.
