Having driven the family to an event at the National Exhibition Centre I was free to spend the day in Birmingham. I had a walk around the Bullring & market area and found myself in Chinatown at lunchtime. It is a self-service buffet but I found the staff helpful and the choice of food was so great that I could... More

We always go to the big wok when we are in Birmingham, we were there 6th September so off we went to the Big Wok. The price is still the same but we were very disappointed with the food, the choices are the same but the flavour and taste was bland. The chicken wings and ribs were poor, and the... More

Went for lunch with my girlfriend here today. £6.49 each, eat what you like. You have to pay for your drinks which we had a coke £2 & an orange juice £2.40. This is very reasonable. Food was good but chicken was a bit dry but still nice. Ice cream was basic but with the sauces they provide make it... More

A nice place for a buffet with ample choices of starters, mains and desserts. You'll find many of the traditional Chinese dishes here and a noodle bar serving Chinese porridge as well as a selection of noodles. I did enjoy my visit and will return again.

A set price restaurant where the choice is amazing. Food of every Chinese kind on offer and constantly replaced when necessary. There were a variety of vegetarian dishes as well as the usual Chinese fare . A bit cramped but there was such a steady flow of people that this is probably a necessity to cope with the numbers. A... Buffet with large coke was £12.99 per person. We visited evening pre show as this is close to Hipprodrome Theatre. No booking required. It is very basic as previous reviews describe it reminds you a bit of school canteen, but very clean tables & staff quick to keep tables neat & clean. There is choice of buffet style food &... More

We were staying in Birmingham for the weekend and decided to go to Chinatown. Didn't know where to go to eat so followed nose and other people to decide where to go. Situated up a side street we just happened to glance and saw what we thought was entrance to multi storey carpark but clearly saw Chinese buffet. We had... More

Visited today. 3 adults, 1 child with drinks £29 for lunch buffet. Food was ok. Starters nice. Was all hot. Pudding choice was better. Staff always cleaning and refill food area. Restaurant basic, bit like a canteen. Staff kept place tidy unlike other buffets we've been too. Toilets dirty though.
