My partner and I went in to have a lovely sit down meal. It was busy but the food was cheap. we had to wait 15 minutes for our meals. once the food arrived, my partner said his meal was not cooked properly. Later that night my partner, became ill. I had to call for an ambulance. The doctor said... More

It's Wetherspoons pub, so the drinks are cheap and the meals relatively predictable...but on the night we visited, the staffing of the outdoor area was insufficient to manage the demand. A couple of tables contained rowdy drinkers who had clearly had too much and whose drunken behaviour began to interfere with the enjoyment of others. Tables were left uncleared and... More

Weatherspoons is never going to be a glamorous dinning experience, but i regularly eat in these pubs as they are generally cheap with good basic food. I went into The Thomas Lloyd for breakfast and when my order arrived, started to eat, but after having moved some of the food around, cut it up & even ate some, i noticed... More

I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie, as there was no cheese and mushroom option, with chips. I asked if I could have mushrooms as well and was told there would be a little extra to pay. Fair enough. The cheese was hardly visible and I certainly could not taste it; the 3 slices of hard unripe tomato still had... More

Great location, great selection of drinks, varied menu all well priced exactly what you would expect from Wetherspoons. Pub itself was great, very welcoming and family friendly. Children's menu was good and they loved the colouring sheets and pencils, adults menu was varied and the curry night option which went down a treat. Overall a great visit.

It's Weatherspoons, you know what to expect. The drinks are good and well served, selection is good and the food is fine. As always there were some good meal deals to be had with food and drinks. The kids like the free colouring pads and pencils. The only thing wrong with this place is the toilets being upstairs, it might... More

As with Weatherspoons pubs its a bit like MacDonald's you pretty well know what you are going to get however The Thomas Lloyd is a flagship for the company. Extremely well managed by Barney, Andy and the rest of the team. It can be busy and you may have to wait but it as least 30 % cheaper than the... More

Food was actually supringsly good for a wetherspoons, actually the best meal I've had in a wetherspoons. Service was poor blonde lady served me, American accent was extremely rude, which let it down unfortunately. Manners cost nothing

On our visit we decided to find a quiet table at the back and enjoy a sticky cake and coffee, popular place for all ages with plenty of real ale to choose from, just what you expect from a wetherspoons, they never let you down.
