You sometimes think paying more gets you more. We'll not with this place. Steaks ordered medium to rare came out well done! Chicken was worse than KFC. I don't know how a place that prides itself on its steaks can get it oh so very wrong. Be wary about complaining as the manager acts like you've stolen his wife!!!

Having a late Birthday Lunch we decided to visit the TLC following some mixed reviews. Lovely décor and feel to the place and nice seating in the Restaurant. Although we didn't book we were soon offered a table to dine at. Sadly the starters shown on the website weren't available via menu and even asking to see the bar menu,... More

Reputation of restaurant was over-rated, it was expensive and tables are very close together so no privacy. Staff were very friendly.

Went for a birthday meal tonight and had some delicious food and good service. When it came to the bill though I noticed the cost of 2 items differed from what the menu had said. The menu stated the scallops were £10.50 and the rump steak was £17. The bill added £1 to the scallops and 50 pence to the... More

Had an enjoyable Saturday evening at the Lazy Cow, which was busy, friendly and had a good selection of beers and wines

We were 6 people eating here as a business dinner. we had scallops as the starter and I had NY strip steak medium done. The meat was tender and delicious, but I think medium cooking should be little bit on medium+ side, I prefer medium to be more juicy and more pink in the middle The place is decorated with... More

We booked a table of 6 for 2pm for lunch this Friday and were probably spending I excess of £250. We were greeted by a surly tattooed 'attitude' female member of staff who was frankly rude towards us and who we felt an inconvenience to her day. After taking a table we decided to leave and move to the Rose... More

We had dinner here and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The desserts were good too, we are definitely going back. They also have a hotel so you can stay which was amazing :-) 10/10

We have eaten (and drunk) at this place a number of times over the last couple of years and have always had a great time. The food has been tasty and the portions have been of a decent size. There is always a good selection of drinks with some different beers (lagers, bitters and ales) available to try every time... More

When this place first opened a few years back it was great......now several years later it seems to have withered and died. The menu has barely changed, it certainly hasn't improved. The staff seem to be getting younger, cheaper and a lot more uselss.....last time my steak came out burnt.....only to realise they had never asked me how i wanted... More
